"Nice place. The room was a decent size. Reception very good. The bar area was very, very busy and very, very understaffed. They were complaining about people paying in cash as they were running out of change. There are still a lot of people who only use cash, myself included. The breakfast was quite good but disappointed that you didn't have any butter, just margarine, which I feel tastes disgusting. I think for the prices paid that you could stretch to a bit f butter."

"We visited this beautiful venue for our Anniversary weekend. Staff were attentive and welcoming at every moment making our visit very special. We had food from lunch menu and Sunday Menu and all food was impeccably prepared and tasted amazing, the staff presented everything very well and attended to our personal preferences. All in all a perfect location, the accommodation has its own unique layout to very high standard and is very fresh and clean and everything very well thought out. The highest level of service around all aspects of the venue and we have travelled around the world and to many high spec places and things up there with the best ones. Thanks to all of the team for making our visit amazing, we will definitely highly recommend and we will be returning."

"Saturday night stay. We checked in quite late, 7.45pm, but this wasn't a problem as we were shown to our room by host John. Nice clean and tidy room with comfy bed. We quickly changed and headed down to the bar to be served by...... John. There were a few in the bar but certainly not full. We had a quick chat with John and we quickly realised that he was working alone and had been since opening at midday. We had a couple of drinks before having a wander around Otley. We returned for a nightcap and yes John was still serving, glass collecting, clearing tables etc. All with a smile. This man deserves a medal and the owners of this pub have a jewel working for them. He made our stay so worthwhile, Thank You John "
