"The apartment was very beautiful, clean and perfectly equipped. Pedestrian to the beach, to the port ferry to the East end and to the tram. The parking in the deep garage is also very practical and safe."

"We stayed at Hotel Monarc at the end of October 2025 and were impressed by its calm atmosphere, personal service, and prime location just steps from the beach and promenade. The booking process was professional, with a personalised reply from the team. On arrival, parking was straightforward, and check-in was handled directly by the owner in an efficient way. Our room felt bright and comfortable, with a good bed and quality lighting, though the curtains let in some morning light. The bathroom was excellent — spacious, spotless, and equipped with Rituals toiletries, good towels, and a rain shower. The breakfast was one of the highlights: a beautifully presented buffet with fresh orange juice, a smoothie, Moroccan tea, and a wide selection of products. The cosy room and attentive service made it a perfect start to the day. Hotel Monarc combines design, comfort, and hospitality in the heart of Ostend. The great room, the personal approach and top breakfast make it a hotel we would gladly return to."

"DO NOT BOOK! The owner is extremely rude, accommodating and inflexible. It might be the cheapest in town but honestly so worth spending a bit more and not having this nightmare of an experience with this place. Owner refused to take us in due to a delay in checking in, it was the middle of the night in a ghost town. On top, he was having a go at me on the phone saying how rude and impolite i am for disturbing him."

A small dispute, regarding whether or not booked breakfast. When showing a copy of the booking, it was immediately remedied. Ruzy rooms with a net bathroom. Careful and extensive breakfast. Price quality correct. Friendly service at the reception and in the breakfast room."
