This was our first time spending the night at one of these and it was a fun experience. Everyone was super respectful of everyone, keeping quiet and following the rules. The place was spotless, decor was fantastic and unique. Bathrooms and showers were nice, towels provided. We had the private double room with a balcony which was nice.

I booked the large capsule so a double room for myself as a treat and needed a bit more space than a cube. This was great as I could stand up, I had a window and two pillows to myself. The hostel held my baggage for me as I arrived early (free of charge) and I can confirm this is a super instagram worthy place. Plenty of books to look at (all in Japanese) but you’ll recognise the covers, some manga too. The shower was hot and clean with two towers provided which is always welcome - one for hair and one for body. There were a few hairdryers for use in the bathroom and I felt very safe and secure inside my capsule. Plenty of charge points / plugs and a handy light switch easy to reach. There were extra blankets and an electric blanket too if things got a bit chilly, which surprisingly they did.

The hostels does not work on a fundamental level as the common room , sleeping areas and bathrooms all share the same area.. This means it is noisy all night and cannot be escaped. Combine this with the entrance to the bed being too small and no air flow it feels like you are sleeping in a dog kennel . Cool concept beyond poor execution

Book & Bed is all about the atmosphere. The cafe out front is great and has these interesting "Black" versions of lattes and other drinks. The best part is the main area of the hostel though, where there is an abundance of reading space surrounded by books. Whether you want to borrow books from the walls or just relax and read your own, its very comfortable and much more "relaxed" than most hostels.

本の種類も豊富で快適な空間の中、ゆとりある時間を過ごすことができました。外を少し歩けば、すぐ繁華街というとこもあり、飲食にも困りませんでした。また利用したいです。

独特のテーマで本屋の様な、美術館の様なカプセルホテルでした。
大きくはないですが、比較的きれいで過ごしやすい空間です。
深夜にドライヤーが使えない所だけ困りましたが、それ以外の部分は快適でした。
値段の割にサービスもよくホテルに対しての不満はないですが、ビニール傘がなくなったので、貴重品は金庫にしっかりしまって過ごす必要がありそうです。
