Great room with amazing space for a japan hotel. Also located in the heart of osaka

Oriental Express Shinsaibashi is a typical low cost hotel where it meets your need i.e. near the shopping street. I find the room to be clean. Housekeeping will knock on the door at abt 11am if you intend to have your room clean up. You will need to indicate do not disturb if you do not want to be waked up by the knock. The front desk does not seemed to be friendly though. Overall, it's a comfortable stay.

Room is big, staff are very helpful. Easy to find from shinsaibashi station. But the carpet is aged and dusty

The hotel is extremely discriminatory towards foreigners!! The good rooms and higher floors are all reserved for locals. Besides the location relatively close to Shinsaibashi, it has no advantages, and the rooms are very dusty. As someone with allergies, I continuously sneezed as soon as I entered the room. There's a Japanese girl at the front desk (wearing a brown uniform and a ponytail) who is very disrespectful to foreigners! She greets Japanese guests warmly, but completely ignores all foreigners, acting as if she doesn't see us. I finally experienced unfriendly behavior from Japanese people, impressed! As soon as you speak English at the front desk, she shows a sour face (I can’t speak Japanese, so what other language can I use?! as i am not a local!!) or directly asks where you are from to categorize you by race. There are plenty of hotels nearby with similar prices, so believe me, don’t stay at this one. Also, there's no parking at the entrance; if you wait even a second for a Uber to somewhere, you will be chased away. BTW, this is the first negative review I’ve given on Trip.com, and it's for this hotel! P.S. I didn’t take a single photo of the room because I didn’t want to!!

The hotel is in the heart of Shinsaibashi, that's why it's so convenient. The room is a bit small but it's quite new and clean. Will reserve this hotel again for my next trip to Osaka.

Great location. Rooms a little smaller than usual. Limited facilities. Good for folks looking for just a place to sleep. Nice cafe on ground floor with breakfast.

Walked from subway to the hotel around 600m and near Shinseibashi shopping center. The room is spacious. Staff are friendly and can speak english.

Twin size is better than double in terms of value

Pretty good service & stay, able to open two 28inch luggages fully. Location is walking distance to the popular street & metro. Highly recommended for budget travellers.

Very compact and comfort hotel for tourist, you can see that the bed is big size enough for big height male haha - the interior is also good and the location is right next to the Shinsaibashi. Highly recommend for shopping people !

You don't have to worry about traveling to different places. Because it's close to the subway and also close to the most popular shopping areas. Polite service staff, clean rooms and there is a laundry room as well, very convenient.

Clean Room, Very near with a few subway station. Walking distance to shinsaibashi street.

location are in prime area, facilities of hotels are well provided. a little disappointed on the toilet smell and carpet dirt stained.
