"In Erzin, we knew how much we would have to pay at the reception, but they charged me 600 Algerian Dinars more than what was stated in your system. When I asked about this, they said no, they don't accept it. They charged me 1950 Dinars, but your system shows 1250 Dinars. So they overcharged me. Secondly, the receptionists didn't speak English; I had a lot of difficulty and used a translation device. Thirdly, to call a taxi at the door, even though I ordered one through the app on my phone, the taxi that arrived demanded three times the amount shown in the system. The receptionist and the person at the door had arranged that taxi. The amount I should have paid was 700, but they asked for 2000, then lowered it to 1005. It was very unethical behavior. In the end, I ordered a taxi myself through the system and went for 1000."

"Horrible Hotel, not worth the money. As a member of the Marriot i was very disappointed in this hotel. When we entered the room we did not find any towels, we had to call the reception to request them and when they brought them to the room. they were so old and used up...scary to see that kind of towels in a 4 stars hotel. The same crappy towels were used in the Hamam at the top floor...Don't let me start talking how dirty and primitives that hamam was. I paid over DA40000 for a queen bed room (2 people) which is too pricy for the service and the quality of that Hotel. Oran offer more choice...Please go somewhere else."

"Evaluation of the TIMGADE Hotel in Oran. Unfortunately, my experience upon arrival at the TIMGADE hotel in Oran was extremely disappointing. The staff at the reception were unwelcoming and seemed disinterested. No effort has been made to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The lack of professionalism of the staff was striking. Employees appeared disorganized and uncompetent in performing their tasks. Simple requests like WIFI were handled poorly which added to my feeling of frustration and discomfort. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The general attitude of the staff was indifferent and unconcerned with the well-being of the guests. Although the cleanliness of my room was acceptable, other parts of the hotel appeared poorly maintained. Common facilities were dirty and in disrepair, which would contribute to an overall feeling of neglect. The breakfast, far from reflecting the photos on the advertising model, consisted of a simple café au lait, the pastries consisted of 4 bread croutons and 2 madeleine type cakes. Conclusion: Overall, my stay at the TIMGADE hotel in Oran was very disappointing due to the poor welcome and the lack of professionalism of the staff. I would not recommend this property to other travelers unless significant changes are made to the hotel's management and service culture."

"1) although we had a confirmed reservation since February, upon our arrival the incompetent service person told us that it was full but that we could take a more expensive suite, well, let's see! Then, when I saw the email I received that I put under her nose, hey presto, a room was free!🤦‍♀️ 2) the rooms are extremely noisy 3) the rooms are far from being spotless (see photos) 4) the sheets are made of very unpleasant polyester 5) the shower smells of pee 6) there is no mixer tap in the shower (or sometimes it is mounted backwards) as a result you are alternately scalded or frozen 7) the Wi-Fi does not work 8) we asked for 2 days to change rooms to try to have some peace and quiet, it was only possible on the 3rd day 9) the incompetent receptionist does not even know that the museums are closed on Fridays and Saturdays. I remind you, miss, that you work in a HOTEL, not a bakery, so make a minimum effort or change jobs or keep quiet about the only positive point: the catering staff: welcoming, professional, smiling and the food is good at breakfast and dinner."
