"This was the best value hotel I stayed at in the Czech Republic. I booked it through Trip.com, and it included free parking and breakfast. Because online payment was non-refundable, the price was very cheap. Although I was overcharged 59 Czech crowns for city tax on-site, contacting Trip.com customer service immediately helped resolve the issue, and the overcharged amount was refunded in cash at the counter the next day. Trip.com customer service is always willing to help resolve problems, which makes me feel at ease."

"Another stay at the OREA Hotel Arigone Olomouc, this time instead of a double room, I had a four-person room. The service was excellent, friendly, and always helpful and smiling, both at reception, during breakfast, and during housekeeping. Complimentary espresso or a glass of lemonade (on sunny days) was available. The price was very reasonable, and the room and bathroom were spotless. I highly appreciate the amenities in each room, including a small kettle for making tea and coffee. The room is accessible to guests with children, wheelchairs, and the disabled. The food selection will surely satisfy even the pickiest and most discerning. The staff, during breakfast, constantly replenishes the offered products, dishes, and even cakes. The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming, almost homey. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the market square and St. Michael's Church. It makes me want to stay at this hotel again!"

"I stayed in a Junior Suite. The room itself was modern, spacious, and very well equipped, and it felt genuinely premium. I specifically chose this room because of the large bathtub. Unfortunately, the bathtub could not be used at all during the stay because the drain plug did not work. Despite several attempts by staff, the issue was never resolved. The staff openly admitted they were already aware of this defect, which is particularly disappointing when the bathtub is a key feature of this room category. The wellness area was available only in a limited mode. The staff there were friendly but clearly disorganized. What left a very poor impression was being given a dirty towel in the wellness area — something that should simply never happen in a hotel of this level. The lobby bar — if it exists at all — was not available during the stay. The same applied to several other services, always with the explanation “maybe another day.” This creates a strange paradox: you book a hotel, but without services. And this happened during holidays, when most of the city was closed and there was literally nowhere to eat or drink outside the hotel. In such situations, a hotel should compensate for the lack of options in the city — not mirror it. Room service was available only from the third day of the stay. While the food quality itself was good, the absence of room service during the first two days, combined with a closed restaurant and no lobby bar, is a serious failure — especially during a holiday period. Housekeeping was one of the biggest issues. The bedsheet was already dirty upon arrival and was not changed at any point during the entire stay, even though the room was “cleaned” later. From a hygiene perspective, this is unacceptable and hard to comprehend in a hotel positioning itself at a higher standard. Breakfast was modest, with a very limited selection and not particularly fresh pastries. The worst part, however, was the organization: staff were moving metal carts between tables while guests were eating, collecting dishes and creating significant noise. As an almost surreal moment, staff members were also seen taking food for themselves and removing plates from the breakfast area. The biggest disappointment overall was communication — from the initial reservation process to the check-in experience. It felt chaotic, inconsistent, and at times as if the guest was an inconvenience. Ironically, the check-out staff were very friendly, but by then the overall impression was already damaged. Summary: a beautiful, new hotel with excellent rooms, but services, organization, and basic hygiene standards do not currently match the price or expectations. Especially when the city is effectively closed, a hotel should step in and provide services — unfortunately, that did not happen here. A real shame, because the potential is clearly there."

"These apartments were easy to find with good parking outside whilst checking in. Secure parking after check-in. There was a voucher for a free drink at the restaurant next door which does great meals and drinks at reasonable prices and also had some bread, pate, pasta and sauces for sale. There’s also a couple of supermarkets nearby for self catering. The room was a good size, very clean, well equipped with good hot water and towels. The view from our room with balcony at the back was of houses and gardens which was quiet and relaxing. What wasn’t relaxing was not being able to find any tv program in any language other than Czech. We thought being an international hotel there might be something. Very frustrating! Rear carpark can get a little noisy if you have windows open overnight. Tram number four stops right near the hotel so getting into town was easy. Tickets available from the supermarket just down the road. TV viewing aside, a good stay."

"The hotel is very clean and furnished in style, and our room was spacious and very comfortable. The girl is certainly the small spa with sauna, Turkish bathroom and small hydromassage pool, ideal for relaxation. The hotel is located in the centre of the city, and the hotel is located in the centre of the city. Among the less positive notes, certainly the position near a very trafficked road, which can make your stay noisy if you are sensitive to noise (not accidentally there are ear taps) and breakfast, very essential. I also found the extra bed cost (c. € 50) a little overpriced, but it deserves 5 stars for the very good experience and the hotel category."

"The rooms are good, meeting 4-star standards. The windows are soundproof, so you can't hear anything from the street. You can sleep well at night. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The location is right next to the main train station, not in the city center. A very good choice for people who travel a lot by train. The hotel charges an additional fee for early check-in, which is a bit confusing to me, since Olomouc isn't London/Milan/Prague. One evening and the following morning, there was no hot water due to technical problems. What also confuses me a bit: I booked in EUR, but the hotel charged me in CZK using its exchange rate (unfavorable for me). When I paid by credit card, the amount I received was larger (my bank doesn't charge a fee). After negotiation, I was refunded the excess. Normally, the booking agent takes the amount in EUR directly when booking; or the website shows the CZK price, and you then pay this CZK at the hotel."
