The Scarborough Inn is, in my opinion, the epitome of excellence, and my favorite place to visit. Every time I walk through the door, I am treated to a personalized greeting, complete with a warm hug. The breakfast is a true delight, with its sumptuous flavors and visually stunning presentation. Our room is always immaculately clean, and I am particularly fond of the decor, which seamlessly blends modern and vintage elements. The Inn's location offers a wide range of activities, from leisurely strolls along the beach or boardwalk, to shopping sprees on Asbury, and relaxing moments on the wraparound porch. This is the perfect haven to relax, unwind, and rejuvenate.

This inn is in a fantastic location, just steps away from the beach, restaurants, ice cream and shops! The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is incredibly welcoming. I visited solo and ended up making some wonderful new friends, but I can easily see how this place would be perfect for solo travelers, friends, or family trips alike!

Driving down Ocean Ave, in OCNJ I could see the sparkling outside lights and charm of Scarborough Inn. The Inn has their own parking so you don’t need to look for a spot during the busy months. Beautiful porch with comfortable Victorian chairs and rocking chairs for relaxation. They even have blankets for cool evenings. Walk inside to a warm welcome from the Inn Keeper. There is a gorgeous living room and daily breakfast area. Lots of drink options available 24/7. The rooms are extremely comfortable with the sun shining in and lots of storage areas to unpack and unwind. Bathrooms are newly remodeled with a Victorian touch. Staying at the Scarborough Inn was very relaxing and close to the beach, boardwalk and Asbury Ave. shops. Highly recommend!

There is no place at the Jersey shore like the Scarborough Inn. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and beautiful with the most gorgeous rain head showers. Everything is private, upscale, but with a comfortable & relaxed vibe. Owner Sne is a treat and he treats his guests like esteemed friends. The breakfast is served when YOU want it (within a generous morning time frame) and WHERE you want it. The staff are friendly but not intrusive and show great pride-joy in their work. Staying at the Scarborough Inn is like visiting your wealthy uncle who adores you. It’s a must-do experience.

This is a beautiful place to stay! It has just the right mix of vintage meets modern decor, and it has all the charm to make you feel at home! Staff are very welcoming and try to do whatever they can to accommodate you, and the food was excellent! I even decided last minute to stay an extra night because it was so nice! I highly recommend, and I will be returning for sure!

I occasioned at the Inn as a massage therapist for a group of guests. I was taken with the hospitality extended to me, an unknown. The staff offered to carry my gear, set up my chair and even feed me (the quiche was excellent). They said I was welcome to any refreshments In the lobby. When I finished, they invited me to sit and have freshly baked cookies. I loved the Inn. The porch faces the beach so there is plenty of sun. The lobby is retro but the room I worked in was very modern. The guests that I massaged were as impressed with the Inn as I was.

I love the Scarborough Inn. This was my third visit. I find it very relaxing and restful at the inn. Every employee there goes out of their way to make sure that you have a fantastic experience. My room was fantastic. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Housekeeping does a great job maintaining cleanliness. I'll definitely be back.

I was in Ocean City and on short notice needed a hotel room for the night. I was very lucky to read some of the previous reviews and even luckier that Sne the owner was awake at 11.45 at night to check me in! Very comfortable rooms, well fitted, great towels and sheets. And it was nice to have the breakfast bar and coffee machine to serve myself in the morning with my early departure. I will definitely stay there again.

The staff are warm and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The whole place is absolutely charming and the breakfast was delicious. We went in the off season. The Inn is a quick walk to the historic boardwalk too. We will definitely be back.
