Nynas Havsbad

I have stayed here three times in the past few years and expect I will be returning in the future as well. The hotel is beautifully located by the seaside and the area is generally very picturesque. Staff has always been friendly and helpful during our stays. We have yet to try having lunch and dinner here, but the breakfast is nice. Basic, but good. I have read some complaints about the cleaning, but have never encountered any problems in that area myself. The rooms are probably due for an overhaul, but absolutely suffice. As for the drawbacks, the main one for me is the lack of airconditioning. The rooms have a tendency to get unberably hot in summer, but cracking open a window will basically get you swarmed by bugs. Mosquitoes, gnats and flies are abundant, as are some pretty sizeable spiders (one got into my bed and another one came too close for comfort. Do not recommend). This is a forested area in addition to being waterside and bugs are to be expected, but I absolutely don’t understand why the hotel doesn’t at least invest in some netting/screen windows so guests can cool the rooms down a bit without issuing an open invitation to all manners of insects. Some rooms have a fan, but fans really only serve to move the warm, stale air around a bit. I also wish spa entrance was included in the room price as 450 SEK daily is way too steep for pool/sauna access, lovely as the spa pavillion is. Other spa services I’ll happily shell out for. All in all we are always pleased to stay here for a few days, but some improvements are increasingly in order to justify the price point.

Not coming back, bad quality.

It was totally ok.

Nästan allt var toppen! Rummet något slitet och "grått". Det saknades aircondition så rummet, vänt mot vattnet / solen, blev väldigt varmt. Jättebra frukost. Saknade dock markerade diabetesvänliga alterniativ. Möjlighet att sitta ute och njuta av miljön. Personalen var smidig och kanonbra 🙂.

Mycket trevlig personal

Booked a weekend with boyfriend. The spa was great! Sauna and outside pool. Please only go here for the spa. We got a firm reminder to only use as much towels as needed, witch was strange since we were only 4 people in total at the venue..but it gets better. The dinner was horrible. Oversalted, cold, no taste. We complained two, three times, only the third time the head chef came out, looked at us really close as if judge the character and admitted that there may have been too much salt in the food. We were compensated with desserts, yes they were horrible too. Later at night we tried to sleep and the bed was actually 2 smaller beds, put together with nothing to attach them to each other. We ended up sleeping in separated beds. On a romantic weekend. When the breakfast closes at 10 am, everything is taken away. A woman wanted butter to a sandwich for her kid, but the breakfast was removed by now, by the sourly breakfast server who did not helped her with any butter. I trues to claim my money back in the reception and I wasn't allowed! I had to contact the management by mail. Which I did. A couple of emails later, I realized I will never return to this sh*tty place and tell everyone I know to not go here. Please, be wise now and do as I say! I could only reclaim half of the payment since "you actually used the room before dinner and that was acceptable for you". I never received any money. This is a sh*tty place with really bad management. Please don't give them your money.

Fantastiskt utsikt, trevlig personal, god frukost, bra läge, fint utomhusbad, bastu och med mera… Vi är super nöjd ☺️ TACK 🙏✨❤️
