Ulasan Grand Richmond Stylish Convention Hotel

False advertising for their rooms. They post photos of their newer rooms in the new tower when I booked but when I show up at hotel. They gave me the old building rooms which are super run down, the paints were chipping off their furnitures and the bathroom sink holes are rusting. It was only when I went to front desk to ask them about this they then tell me only grand deluxe rooms above are in the new buildings. But on their listing their twin rooms were also photos of the newer room/ design. It feels like they will try to put you in the old rooms unless you pay for upgrade or you complain. And this is my 2nd time staying with them. The first experience was unpleasant as well because they gave me a room with no warm water in the shower. Their technicians would claim the water is warm when it is room temperature. I had to pay for upgrade because the room they gave me is old and dirty. Feels like it's a scam every time I stay with them.

the worst 5* hotel I have ever booked, I would describe it as max 2*! The lobby is really nice, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is ok, but then it's over. The room is a disgrace and totally overpriced. The prices in the restaurant are 5* but not worth it. There are cockroaches in the room, there is hardly any water coming out of the shower when there is hot water, the furniture has been painted over but is still dirty and damaged, the entire inventory is totally outdated and the mattresses are sagging. Terrible and therefore once and never again.

Stayed at the west wing lower floor(4th). I felt that the sound proofing of the room were not as adequate. I could here doors opening and closing. Nonetheless it was a pleasant stay, pillows were comfy

Loved everything about this hotel, location, lobby, coffee shop and restaurant. Breakfast was good plenty of selections. Restaurant service was excellent. But the one major disappointment I had was not the room itself, but the bathroom. Bathroom was old, stained, dirty, moldy, yellow stained toilet seat, broken fixtures. I do not know if these poorly maintained rooms are specifically reserved for bookings made through discount apps such as trip.com. If so, there should be a disclaimer stating this discounted room will not be of a high standard.

Good location

Clean & safe hotel. Less variety of breakfast and medium quality. In the room has no iron, it should be borrowed if needed which has only2-3 irons throughout the hotel.

Great hotel for the price, staffs were helpful in calling taxi for us. Wide spread of selection for breakfast too.

Convenient for work and MTR. Comfy bed, good shower and OK WiFi. Breakfast buffet reasonable selection. Restaurant closes quite early though and room service menu limited. Overall good value if need to stay over that side of the city.

Room good as usual although hot water was more warm at best.
