Proximity to Newark Airport was great. There is an airport shuttle, but you have to find it. Make sure you take the AirTrain to the proper stop. Shuttles, the Blue Van, comes by every ½ hour on the half hour. When we were waiting for the Van, so were countless others. Bag space is limited in the “trunk” of the van and people have these huge suitcases. My wife got into the van while I was trying to put my 2 carry-ons in the back. I wasn’t able to put them in, so we just held them in the cab. Because of the volume of people heading to the airport, there was a long line to check in. Luckily I was second. The man at the reception, whose name I forgot, was very nice. I received 2 bottles of water for being a Hilton Honors member. Our room, #715, was very nice. Two very comfortable beds. It was clean and very modern. I would have liked to open the window to get some fresh air, but it as bolted closed. Shampoo and Soap dispensers are in the shower, and a bar of soap, with plenty of towels are provided. Towels, even though they were Hilton towels, were a bit scratchy...more fabric softener please. We had to leave so early in the morning that we didn’t have time to enjoy any breakfast there. We were in the room for such a short time, but it did the trick. We were between flights, one of which was International and the other which was Domestic. Leaving, we made a reservation for the van upon check-in. We had absolutely no problem boarding the van for the airport in the morning. All and all it was a good stay, and I would stay here again, but you have to be assertive for that van.
