I wasn’t sure where to stay in New York. I chose the AKA Nomad because of a previous good experience with the AKA in Washington, DC. The room was decent and roomy with lots of storage space and space for working in. The bed and pillows were comfortable.
Housekeeping was excellent and very punctual. Staff were basically polite. It’s not really walking distance to Broadway but there are subway lines in short walking distance. There are two elevators and you do have to wait a few minutes most times to go upstairs or downstairs. The main shortcoming was the small sink in the premium room. The fitness center is also small, really just a treadmill, bike, and elliptical with some dumbbells
This hotel is suitable for business travelers.
