Belnord Hotel

The service was very good. The rooms are super clean and comfortable. Location is superb.

I chose Belnord based on the reviews and it truly deserves all the fave ratings. Fantastic location with subway and shops closeby. The rooms remind you of a cruise ship but I was travelling solo and with one suitcase so it was fine. They have renovated the rooms so they are clean and comfortable. They provide fridge in the room. Toiletries are ok but they could have provided a lotion instead of hand sanitizer. Also a handshower works better for me than a head shower. What I loved was the free tea/coffee and spending time at the patio. In the pantry there is a microwave so you can buy food and heat it up. Will like to stay here again.

1st reservation: property cancelled on us, they said this was a “system error” but then did not attempt to make amends when we had to pay more to rebook the same room for the same dates due to their error. We also had to chase to get the original deposit back. We rebooked and repaid a new increased deposit for the exact same room and dates. Property then randomly told *********** they could no longer accommodate us but did not let us know of this nor did they cancel our booking on ***********. When we then tried to cancel the booking to get our deposit back as this hotel is extremely unreliable we were given an error message that we are unable to cancel with the hotel and have had to raise this to customer service. It seems this hotel is making extra money by cancelling bookings when the hotel is near full and increasing the prices of rooms to make you rebook. The staff we have spoken with online have been extremely rude about this and very unhelpful. Spend a small amount more and stay somewhere that is actually reliable! The last thing you want when travelling is a hotel that may or may not have a reservation for you!
