The Hans looked central and a but classical online. I chose it for its location. Staff was pretty forthcoming, they let me check in early but the room they gave me wasn't the one I booked (it was smaller). After checking I was changed to a bigger one, the one I originally booked. In general the hotel is old, woodwork is worn, walls had ***y suitcases banged into them, towels washed too ***y times. Also windows need a deep clean. Delhi is a harsh city to run a hotel. Welcome to the Lalit Hotel in New Delhi, where the hospitality is as warm as a freshly made naan and the staff is filled with the most stunning girls in India! Seriously, the moment I walked in, I thought I’d accidentally stumbled onto a Miss India pageant rehearsal. I was half-expecting a judge to pop up and ask me to rate their smiles! Now let’s address the food. Oh, bhai! The food here should come with a warning label: “Caution: May cause uncontrollable drooling!” One bite, and I was hooked. I think I ate enough biryani to feed an entire wedding party! I mean, I was so full, I considered rolling out of the dining room like a giant samosa. Bring your elastic-waist pants because you’ll need them, trust me! And those beds! I lay down and entered a sleep coma that lasted a whole month. When I finally woke up, I felt like a bear who had just come out of hibernation—hairy, grumpy, and wondering where all the food went! I was so well-rested that I thought I could run a marathon or at least walk to the fridge without feeling tired! So, if you’re looking for a place where beauty meets deliciousness and where beds are softer than a paratha fresh off the tawa, the Lalit Hotel is the place to be! Just remember to come with an empty stomach and a sense of humor, so you can laugh off those extra kilos you’ll definitely gain. Trust me, you’ll leave with a bag full of memories and maybe a few extra pounds, but who cares? Even though it was located away from the busy city center, i preferred that as that meant it was quieter. I loved that we were situated near to some beautiful monuments so the view out of the windows were great. Service was alright but I enjoyed the comfortable rooms and the design of the lobby and the interior of the rooms were great!

Everything was good including service, facilities, and all, especially considering the price—the best cost-effective five-star experience. The arrangement of furniture in the room is very good, giving you a cozy feeling. Staffs are very kind and are well-mannered. However, there are some mild fragrance issues all over the place including in the room. I'd say it's a general Indian scent usually not found in other franchise 5-star hotels. The fragrance in the lobby, elevators, and corridors needs improvement. The breakfast buffet is exceptionally good considering the price, with a high understanding of different cuisines around the globe. Room service foods are also high quality.

Room was beautiful and very spacious. Bathrooms are clean. Unfortunately the pool was under renovation so we didn't get to experience it. Gym is small but gets the job done. Breakfast is very very delicious, and there is a cute bookstore and souvenir shop inside the hotel. Location was convenient for what we needed. Guest services was a bit spottier: we called down a few times for laundry with no response, and we had two problems with our laundry bill. Overall, not quite as professional as the other staff we encountered. We would stay again!

The Imperial Hotel is a delightful blend of elegance and warmth. The staff’s exceptional service made us feel right at home. The restaurant offers authentic Indian cuisine, and the hotel’s interior exudes an unmistakable authenticity. Highly recommended!!

Had a wonderful stay at the hotel. It is clean, a short walk from Janpath metro station and the staff are friendly. It is also conveniently close to some key attractions. As an added benefit there is a travel consultant in the hotel who is really friendly and helpful.

The Taj Mahal Hotel in New Delhi is a true gem. The restaurant, with its authentic North Indian cuisine, is a culinary delight. And the view from the windows, overlooking lush greenery, is incredibly refreshing. A perfect blend of taste and tranquility!”

Location is quite good but the hotel is a bit dated. The safe was not working, but to their credit, they replaced one the next day. Cleanliness is just OK, but can be improved. The room is generally OK, but the drawers were not cleaned properly.

Exceptional Hotel! An Oasis, with lots of greenery in the middle of Chaotic New Delhi. A truly 5-star hotel, excellent OBEROI standard service, the friendliness of all staff at all times from check-in to check-out, super modern and functional facilities, and extremely tasteful decor. Incredible breakfast, with fantastic options in the Buffet or a La carte, the restaurants inside the hotel are wonderful, the rooftop has a super sophisticated bar and frequented by super cool people. With absolute certainty if I go back to New Delhi, I will stay in this hotel again, I will never forget the indescribable aroma of this hotel and its Amenities.
