Unfortunately, it didn’t meet our expectations considering the price of the hotel and spending £1000 plus in the hotel.
The good points:
The jacuzzi and room were great.
Breakfast was nice and had a lot of choices with good food.
The things that didn’t go well:
No fridge in the suite, in the middle of the night I wanted some water, and realised there was no fridge – wouldn’t experience this from a room with a jacuzzi/suite – maybe a budget hotel yes but not when you’re paying 450+ a night.
The fire alarm went off early morning, - my wife suffered from a migraine attack that night because of the fire alarm that went off – then we couldn’t get back to sleep after – night was spoiled.
In the massage room the air con was on and it was freezing in the room, only noticed halfway through the massage that the towel was not covering the whole body.
The massage itself wasn’t worth the price the lady I had didn’t seem to have any experience on how to massage. ( have massages once every 2 weeks)
Mizumi the restaurant was nicely decorated, but the service to bring the food out was slow, we ordered 3 small dishes and 2 big dishes, it took them 25+ minutes to bring the 2 big dishes once they collected the 3 small dishes.
Asked for cutlery took another 5-10 minutes on top.
When we checked out we mentioned all the points above and they didn’t know the fire alarm went off.
Wouldn’t come back after this experience
