The hygiene is very very very poor in the restaurant, rooms and all areas of the hotel. This is evident to any guest who walks in. If there was a negative rating I would give this place a - 5. The breakfast was average. The tables and chairs were unclean, the cutlery & crockery were unclean. Cockroach in the glass tumbler. The linen in the bathroom stink & bedsheets in the room are not washed. Simply reused. I went into the back room & was shocked. See the pics. This place should be shut by fssai who has given them 5 stars as per a certificate they proudly showcase in the reception. Fssai truly has no clue on what their mission, vision and values are. D R Uttama the owner has no clue on what is happening in his hotel. I feel sad for him.

This is a 20 year old property undergoing the process of renovation. Might have carried a great legacy, but currently not in the best shape. I must admire the staff for their willingness to help fix all the issue, but there are too ***y issues that a guest might not want to be bothered with. To list a few important irritated issues: - Room wasn't cleaned properly in spite of an hour's notice. - Renovated work is incomplete in the three rooms we tried shifting to. - We had to request for new bed rolls and sheets as the ones already placed were soiled. - Tap wasn't functional, plumber had to come and fix it during the stay. - Too ***y mosquitoes, can't expect that in a star hotel. - Doors had missing latches. - Ambience isn't reflecting the stars that the hotel claims. - Hotel claims to provide Wifi, but that doesn't work. - The cupboard designed for refrigerator was not holding any refrigerator. - Plates in which food was served by Room Service were disgusting, may be not replaced in the last 20 years. The only good aspects of this hotel are: - Location - Service of the staff

Really really horrible service, never go to this hotel. All i asked them to give was a simple sandwich with sauce and cucumbers. Even after giving instructions some 5 to 6 times, it was refused. Not just by front office but by the kitchen and f&b service. The issue was that it was required at 6 am. Inspite of clearly explaining that they can prepare it at night and and hand it over in the morning with a Banana, they refused. The alternate that was offered was dry bread and jam which I clearly explained i didn't want. The tone in which I was spoken to was rude and disrespectful. Never book this hotel again.. Nor did anyone care if you are asl single lady traveller and travelling alone. Also, the room that I was in 410, had some issues with the key. I am still staying here and it's been three days and it didn't work even once. Everytime someone else had to come and open the room for me.
