"Me and my three grown boys stayed at the Al Hakim. It was a lovely hotel, with an old-town charm. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the classic Arab breakfast was welcome and satisfying every morning. The building has been in the owner's family for generations, and the family's influence is felt. It's location is also superb -- we could easily stay there for weeks exploring Old Nazareth. And Bassam also served as our guide, through Nazareth, the Sea of Galilee, Acre/Akka, Haifa, and most importantly, Safed. Bassam researched and helped me find my father's home! His personal engagement touched our hearts, and my family holds him in the greatest esteem. "

"Hotel looks good from the building appearance but it has issues: 1, they do not provide toothpaste and brush. 2, the refrigerator makes noise each 20 or 30 minutes , when I was sleeping it made me wake up several times. 3, they have vacancy of rooms but arranged me one at the end. I told them to change one for me, they said this room is good cuz it’s close to shelter. However people hiding in shelter talked loudly and I cannot fall into sleep and I asked them to change me another one but they refused."

"We recently spent a pre-Christmas weekend in Nazareth and chose to stay at the Root Boutique Hotel. Excellent choice!!! The location is perfect – inside the Old City, on the axis between the main square with the large fir tree and the market and the Church of the Annunciation. The room was bright and clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. In addition, the owner of the place – Doa, took care of us and kept in touch before and during our arrival at the hotel. She took care of our parking (for a fee) and provided us with excellent advice on good places to eat and travel. A perfect stay for a magical weekend in Nazareth. liav"
