Everything was okay, hostel was a little bit far from the bus stop but nevertheless still a good location. Breakfast was not for us because we are used to having heavy breakfast meals and vegetables and a sandwich isn't enough for our big appetite. I would certainly recommend the hotel and be back to stay longer.

About 5-7 minutes walk from the Sun moon lake drop off area, which was convenient. The room was a lot bigger than I expected, did not expect to have an additional bed as I was travelling solo. With another travelling companion it would be really worth the price. There was even an entire outside area! Staff were friendly, and also provided breakfast, which was nice. The location of the room is about another 2-3 minutes walk from the reception, and was quiet and relaxing even in the day. Only concern might be that the rooms might feel abit old (being a wooden cabin and all) and eerie at night, since there is not much lighting. Also WiFi is not very good in the room

Great location near bus station and yummy food and steps from the lake. Claire was very nice and helpful. I would definitely return ! Sun moon lake is beautiful- we biked all the way around it !

Enjoyed my stay here. The service was extremely good, the reception very kindly recommended us places to visit. The hotel sells bicycle rental voucher with papago (bike rental shop) at a discounted price of NTD 100 for a full day rental (8am to 5pm) and also round trip boat ride tickets at NTD 250. Hotel rooms are clean and the bed was comfy. Breakfast here starts at 8.30 to 9.30 and it was simple but good. The hotel is about 6 minutes away from the bus terminal in Shuishe Visitor Centre. It's recommended to think twice before booking if you have too much luggage as you have to walk by the roadside (no pedestrian lane). Also, the hotel reception is located separately from the hotel so be prepared to walk about 3 minutes to your room. Note there's quite a steep slope here to the rooms and there are wooden planks you have to pull your bag over. The nearest 7 Eleven is also at the Visitor Centre so you have to walk out there.

Lovely stay, lovely room. Everyone friendly and gave great recommendations. Walls are a little thin but didn’t stop us sleeping, may not want to discuss your secrets though 😂 Earplugs provided. Breakfast was a good size but a strange mix of toastie, fruit, veg and egg. Would definitely stay again.

Came back for the second time visiting Sun Moon Lake. The service was excellent, the breakfast also came out tasty!

The room was able to see the lake and sunrise. The room is very clean and quite roomy. The hotel staff was very helpful. Breakfast was included, ours was salad, eggs and fruits which is a tasty healthy one.

Great things have been said by other reviewers about Yue Lake and I totally agree, but I'd like to mention how wonderful the staff here is! I left my AirPods in our room and the staff was quick to notify Trip.com about it. Since we were already back in Taichung at this point, the staff went out of their way to ship my AirPods to my location. They made it so easy and never made me feel like they were doing me a favor when they were in fact doing me such a huge favor. Thank you, Yue Lake! You've guys made me fall in love with Taiwan more. I'm definitely staying here again when I'm back in Yuchi.

Would recommend to travel light as there is no lift. However, the concept is good with lake view.

People is nice, room is clean. All goood! I am happy with the stay, but somehow, the room view was blocked by all the trees during my stayed. Hence, there’s no lake view for me during my stay :(

Nice hotel, clean room. Only 5 min walk to bus station, 7eleven and bike rentals for the lake.

Got service from & to 7-11 which is the public transport transfer point. Pls call when you arrive & book before you leave.

Quite far from station , can walk Pathway to room ,not easy for luggage Wish the hostel has some troll for delivering
