Ulasan Kendwa Rocks Hotel

Loved my stay at Kendwa Rocks. Fantastic location on the beach with plenty of access to activities on the doorstep (or venture out as I did and go on some trips). Trips are expensive from the reception area, go local up the road and you will get just as good and a lot cheaper. I got great bargains and fantastic experiences including short safari on the mainland. Kendwa Rocks has lovely rooms with good amenities (I had a basic room but it was great, it had plenty of room, large bed, good amount of storage, kettle, tea coffee, hairdryer, shower gel and hand wash. Might have benefitted from somewhere to hang wet clothes, I used the chairs on the cute balcony. There was a mirror in the bathroom and 1 in the bedroom but no full length mirror). The staff and service was excellent, room cleaned daily, towel and bedding daily of required too. Breakfast was superb with a good range of fruit, breads, cheese or meat and some hot options. Omelettes cooked to order. Staff in the restaurant seemed to work hard and were very amenable helpful and attentive, always deserving of a tip I thought. Menu for lunch and dinner were a bit repetitive but the hotel is close to some excellent restaurants. I didn’t like the system for purchases at the restaurant and bar: They have a pre-load card system. Warning this is non-refundable so I had over £50 on my card and had to complain to get it back at the end of my stay (they did resolve this but it’s not a great system). Tips: towels for beach with a card system, if you use them remember the date you signed them out or you may struggle to get card back. Sockets: same as uk so no adaptor needed. Repellant: room has repellant and mosquito net: I was fine didn’t need them.
