Hotel Review: Manxin Hotel, Nanjing My stay at the Manxin Hotel in Nanjing was average overall. While the room was generally fine, there were some noticeable issues. The walls in my room showed damage from moisture, which detracted from the appearance and comfort. Additionally, the bathroom had an unpleasant smell from the unclean drain, and some basic supplies were not replenished during my stay. On a more positive note, the rest of the experience was satisfactory. The breakfast was decent and provided a good start to the day. Despite the drawbacks, the hotel has potential with some improvements to maintenance and housekeeping. Definitely worth mentioning is the great location in Nanjing.

Hotel is pretty good for economy travel, neat and in the busy location of Confucious temple area.Night view around hotel is very good with the convenience walking around till late night. Breakfast is also good with some western dishes options

My favourite hotel in Nanjing. I always stay here. Beautiful hotel, convenient location, lots going on. Just across the road very busy and touristy but in a very quiet spot.

During our stay at this hotel, we were truly impressed by the thoughtful service and excellent amenities. The location is fantastic—convenient and close to everything we needed. The rooms and facilities were spotless, making our stay incredibly comfortable. One of the unexpected perks was the free self-service laundry, which was a great bonus, especially for longer stays. What really stood out was the hospitality of the staff. We mentioned how much we enjoyed the local snacks, and to our surprise, they packed some for us as a parting gift when we checked out. It was such a kind and personal touch that made our experience even more special. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, convenience, and warm hospitality. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely fabulous hotel for our family of 5. We had two rooms next to each other and the amenities were great with good room size with space for luggage and a place to sit. The staff were the highlight of our stay and it makes all the difference, they were gracious and polite and friendly and despite my very poor Mandarin attempts, they were always helpful with no eye rolls or patronizing tones. All the front desk staff were amazing from helping us to order late suppers to organizing some medicine for our sick child. The location was perfect for a morning stroll by the canal and close to one of the main gate wall. Highly recommended and we would come and stay again.

The hotel facade may look old but it had been a very warm welcome by the staff and was a pleasant stay for us. The rooms were true to the pictures posted on Trip.com. Big thanks to Lobby Manager Deng Juan 邓娟 who was very attentive and helpful. Knowing that we didn't have a local number, she added me in WeChat so I may contact her if we need any assistance. She also helped coordinate with the kitchen for a slightly early breakfast when we had to check-out by 7am, which we really appreciated. Also, the housekeeper in-charge of our rooms ensured that we had sufficient bottled water during our stay. The hotel is also very close to shopping malls and many food options. I'm very glad to have chosen this hotel for our trip to Nanjing.

I stayed in a twin-bed room for two nights in late December. The hotel is very clean, lobby is tastefully decorated and classy, location is convenient as it is just next to a shopping mall, and with many eateries in the vicinity. The room is big and spacious (no smoke smell) and I enjoyed the little details like electric window blinds and clothes line in the bathroom. Reception and housekeeping staff are very friendly and courteous with fast service levels. Concierge staff are knowledgeable and able to provide accurate information on various tourist attractions.

Amazing stay for 3 nights! Extremely clean, tidy and well maintained. Well mannered, attentive to detail and respectful conceige & house keeping staff. Especially Zhang Wei & Han Wen who helped us greatly. They made our stay feel safe & secured. Will recommend anyone coming to Nanjing to stay here. A short 7-10 mins stroll to the main area of xinkiekou. 5 stars!

This hotel is located in the center of the city, near the 1912 district so there is a lot of restaurants, it is really convenient. In my opinion, it is also a more pleasant neighbourhood that Xinjiekou where are all the others hotels. It is a really recent hotel, so all the furnitures are new. It is really high-tech, the curtains opens automatically when you enter the room, there are some electronic buttons for a lot of things (maybe a bit too much high-tech sometimes ? you can’t leave a single light for reading in the evening when your partner is sleeping). The room is well furnished and spacious, it lacks maybe just a bit of space near the sink in the bathroom. The breakfast is really good and diverse and the staff is really nice and helpful, specially the doorman Sam. I really recommend you this hotel in Nanjing.

Their commitment to excellence set a high standard for our entire stay. The unexpected upgrade from a Sunshine Superior Room to a Deluxe Suite was a delightful surprise that exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail shown by housekeepers such as Ms. Langxia 客房服务员郎霞 and Ms. Hengli 客房服务员恒丽 was truly remarkable. Their thoughtful touches, such as greeting notes, cookies, milk, flowers, and fruits arranged with care, made us feel valued and appreciated. Our experience at Jinfan Wanyuan Hotel was exceptional, and we eagerly anticipate our next visit. A big Thank You to the hotel for providing such a welcoming and memorable environment for us!
