Hotel di Confucius Temple/Qinhuai River Scenic Area, Nanjing

My favourite hotel in Nanjing. I always stay here. Beautiful hotel, convenient location, lots going on. Just across the road very busy and touristy but in a very quiet spot.

During our stay at this hotel, we were truly impressed by the thoughtful service and excellent amenities. The location is fantastic—convenient and close to everything we needed. The rooms and facilities were spotless, making our stay incredibly comfortable. One of the unexpected perks was the free self-service laundry, which was a great bonus, especially for longer stays. What really stood out was the hospitality of the staff. We mentioned how much we enjoyed the local snacks, and to our surprise, they packed some for us as a parting gift when we checked out. It was such a kind and personal touch that made our experience even more special. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, convenience, and warm hospitality. Would definitely stay here again!

I stayed in a twin-bed room for two nights in late December. The hotel is very clean, lobby is tastefully decorated and classy, location is convenient as it is just next to a shopping mall, and with many eateries in the vicinity. The room is big and spacious (no smoke smell) and I enjoyed the little details like electric window blinds and clothes line in the bathroom. Reception and housekeeping staff are very friendly and courteous with fast service levels. Concierge staff are knowledgeable and able to provide accurate information on various tourist attractions.

Hotel is pretty good for economy travel, neat and in the busy location of Confucious temple area.Night view around hotel is very good with the convenience walking around till late night. Breakfast is also good with some western dishes options

Hotel Review: Manxin Hotel, Nanjing My stay at the Manxin Hotel in Nanjing was average overall. While the room was generally fine, there were some noticeable issues. The walls in my room showed damage from moisture, which detracted from the appearance and comfort. Additionally, the bathroom had an unpleasant smell from the unclean drain, and some basic supplies were not replenished during my stay. On a more positive note, the rest of the experience was satisfactory. The breakfast was decent and provided a good start to the day. Despite the drawbacks, the hotel has potential with some improvements to maintenance and housekeeping. Definitely worth mentioning is the great location in Nanjing.

Absolutely fabulous hotel for our family of 5. We had two rooms next to each other and the amenities were great with good room size with space for luggage and a place to sit. The staff were the highlight of our stay and it makes all the difference, they were gracious and polite and friendly and despite my very poor Mandarin attempts, they were always helpful with no eye rolls or patronizing tones. All the front desk staff were amazing from helping us to order late suppers to organizing some medicine for our sick child. The location was perfect for a morning stroll by the canal and close to one of the main gate wall. Highly recommended and we would come and stay again.

Our stay was good and we received a free upgrade as well! Staff were super friendly, especially grateful to the staff 高明慧 for being so helpful 😊 One downside was that the bathtub was outside of the toilet hence we couldn't use it and the toilet door was translucent which may be awkward if travelling with friends. Nonetheless very convenient location in 新街口 as well as towards the popular tourist attractions! Worth a try to stay here if you are visiting Nanjing for the first time!

Very good, the decoration is very good, everyone's service is very good, the front desk staff is warm and hospitable, very responsible, the room is quiet, the experience is good, the whole experience is very satisfactory, the location is very convenient to everywhere, the door is not far away, there is a bus stop, it is very convenient to go to popular attractions, the room cost a few dozen more, and the room type was upgraded, the view looks very good, I like this kind of view room too much, the room is also very warm, and the service is also very good, there is a water dispenser and a coffee machine at the front desk, Nanjing is really pleasant, a pleasant trip. Overall a good hotel with all the necessary amenities. The welcome snacks were a nice surprise. The stuff was friendly and kind. Breakfast was good and there was a variety of foods to choose from. It’s located near the metro station which makes it easy to access other parts of the city. It’s also one stop away from Nanjing South Railway Station which is very convenient for those coming in by train. Overall a good experience!

The hotel was overall okay, for the money that we paid, very decent. Although it’s quite cold in the rooms and they are very small. But despite all of that very enjoyed the stay, the staff at every nice and it’s very clean in the rooms.
