Ulasan Huaji Hotel

Excellent localization near laodongmen , good breakfast included in our choice. Hotel is clean, traditional and with very nice decoration. Near by a selection of restaurants and shops. 25 minutes from Nanjing south railway station and 20 minutes from the museum memorial of Nanjing massacre. The reception was good at the hotel and they can keep your luggage if you arrive earlier than 2:00pm or leave later than 12:00.

this is my 2nd time staying at the huaji hotel and i love it so much! it is cozy, cute, and comfortable, plus it is convenient to get around other parts of Nanjing! plua, the breakfasr is super yummy. 10/10, will be back!

Cozy place to stay. Love the settings of a Chinese courtyard. However, this room gets music from the pub across the street till late at night. Stayed for 3 nights. One of the morning, around 6.30am, they was loud noise from some maintenance that was carried out. Woke me up and noise was still there after 30 mins. i could only go back to bed using my earphone. Raised a complaint with the front desk. Although they attended to teh problem, i am disappointed that this even happened in the first place.

Nanjing is a beautiful city with many attractions. Staying at Huaji Hotel made our trip very special. The rooms are beautifully appointed, with excellent service. The front desk personnel were very helpful and made us feel welcome. The shops nearby were wonderful for finding souvenirs, food, and drinks. Our room had firm, but comfortable beds, with excellent bedding. The toiletries provided included comb, razor, toothbrush and paste. The room had fresh fruit and tea, refreshed each day. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel restaurant just across the walking street. The service there was friendly and warm. Excellent hotel for a very reasonable price!

We stayed in twin room for 5 nights. The hotel is within old town district with pedestrian only walking street so taxi cannot stop in front of hotel. Meaning hv to drag luggage along alleys for about 5 to 8 minutes to get to hotel depending on where your taxi drop you off. Do note that the entrance is a littke hard to find, as they don't use big signage. From hotel to airport taking metro, we left at 1245pm, walked about 15 minutes to wudingmen metro station, reached airport at 208pm. It is within 30 minutes walking distance to yuhuamen, fujimiao area. If weather is good, i think the walk is actually nice n fun. But not during summer. Hotel leaves us fruits in room daily, n breakfast is simple but with enough selection for us to eat for 5 straight mornings. The waitress (i believe is ms 徐) is extremely warm n helpful, service taking. The night shift receptionist ms 张贝has been exceptionally lovely n helpful. She helped me contacted shop when i had issues with ordering n refund, suggested places i can eat n visit, n went the extra miles to help make our stay comfortable n cozy. Last but not least, the hotel is so beautiful, the Chinese architecture with modern comfort makes the stay a truly memorable one.

Beautiful place in an awesome location. Just. A bit difficult to find - not much signage or direction to find it.

Location is superb. The room is nicely decorated and equipped with almost everything I needed. But the service is perfunctory and distant. I don’t feel welcomed at all as a guest. And I wouldn’t choose this hotel again based on the mediocre services I got.

The Huaji Hotel offers the most wonderful experience in the heart of the Old Town. The location is perfect, the hotel unique and simply wonderful, design of the rooms, the small, quiet courtyards, the wonderful decor are simply amazing and create a very authentic feeling of being in the past. Staff of the hotel is beyond helpful and friendly and nothing is ever to much. As mentioned before, the location is fantastic - stepping out of the hotel immerses a person immediately in the Old Town charm and exciting atmosphere, with many cafes, restaurants, wonderful little shops and great bars with live music. We will definitely come back, it is our favourite place in Nanjing and we won't stay anywhere else.

Great location; no breakfast. Duvet very thin for winter. Beautiful plants.
