Ulasan Dorion Hotel

L'hôtel a été la grosse déception de Mykonos. Le personnel à l'accueil est absolument incroyable mais les filles qui travaillent au petit déjeuner sont le gros point noir des équipes, aucune réactivité, aucun savoir être. Cela est vraiment impossible à comprendre dans un hôtel 4 étoiles aussi agréable. Dommage car ça aurait été un sans faute mais nous n'y retournerons pas.

Lovely hotel that gives you a warm welcome. Location is amazing next to a bay and within walking distance of restaurants etc A lot of swimming pools (4) meaning that you always have space. A little peace of heaven

We have just stayed in the hotel for ten fantastic night all we needed apart from it would of been nice to have a coffee machine in the room However there was a fridge with soft drinks in Wonderful staff Great breakfast Top location We will be back Steve and Mike

Great view, multiple pools, clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff (one was even a Chicago Cubs fan). The included breakfast was delicious. We stayed two nights. Our rooms were ready when we arrived and luggage delivered immediately by a polite bell hop.

Everything was great since our entrance till check out. Location is wonderful, staff were very kind. I generally travel with sail boat therefore not found suitable to stay in an hotel, but this one was cosy, friendly and comfortable. Thanks 🙏

lovely hotel. Great room and sea view. Staff friendly and very obliging. Breakfast great selection although could be hotter for hot items.. downside…. Coffee is complimentary in rooms but had to request it. in fact had to ask every day for it in my room. When sunbathing around pool had to get up and go and order poolside drinks. no waiter service offering drinks by pool..

I cannot rate Dorion Hotel highly enough. Not only was it an incredibly beautiful property and the location was sensational but the staff went above and beyond; were so approachable and very accommodating.

It was a lovely hotel but the room we had (no 30) was probably the worst in the hotel as it overlooked the cleaning station and sheds and was out in an annexe. It had no glasses and also had no plug for the bath and only 2 drinks in the minibar when we arrived. The receptionist tried to charge 38 euros for the minibar upon check out but we didn't use anything - not great to be charged for something you haven't had. She waivered it but then proceeded to overcharge me by 15 euros for the tourist tax. I got the feeling this wasn't a genuine mistake. I asked if the hotel could pop a postcard in a postbox as I had forgotten and was enroute to the airport and not sure there would be a postbox there. It was all stamped for UK (just needed posting). She said she couldn't post it - very strange for a hotel and would have possibly changed this review had she said no problem I can post it. But hey ho. It was quite a walk out of Ornos and up a steep hill and no real amenities in the hotel for food/drinks etc. I wouldn't return here as there are much better options within Mykonos and near the beach in Ornos. It was a lovely place and the grounds and pool are gorgeous but it doesn't quite feel like a hotel - more just rooms with a reception area. The bar is an afterthought and staff could be more welcoming. Costas and Jana were nice to us but the rest couldn't have cared less - just going through the motions. Sorry.

We stayed in a sea view suite which was a great size, had lovely furnishings & a nice view. The bed was very comfortable with good quality bed linen & the hotel itself was clean & had a really nice feel to it with several pool areas. We only stayed one night as we were transiting to another island, but would definitely stay here again next time we're in Mykonos. It was our Wedding Anniversary the night we stayed & the fresh flowers in the room & complimentary bottle of wine were a really nice touch. The hotel team were all very friendly & helpful.

Returned June 2022 post pandemic with 7 family members for 3 marvelous days. Have stayed at the Dorion over ten times and wanted to share the experience with my adult children, teen age grand children and partner. As usual, the service, condition of facility, multiple swimming pools, buffet breakfast-all excellent/charming. The rooms have been modernized and bathrooms updated...beautifully done Kudos to Nektar and Dmitri *managers and Florence and Anna for making the Dorion a great family owned and run charming boutique hotel year after year. The location, overlooking Ornos Bay and Beach, the spirit and personal vibe continue to deliver a great cyclades experience. Keep it up-we'll join you as often as possible. Great location, away from the noise but close enough to all amenities, night life etc. Rooms were immaculate, great views and lovely swimming pool. The staff were charming and so helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice. We didn't have great hopes for Mykonos island itself but we stayed a couple of nights so we could visit nearby Delos. Mykonos was not for us but the stay at Hotel Dorion made our short trip there bearable, we loved it.

My wife and i really enjoyed our stay here at Dorion,it's a small 24 room hotel 10 mins walk to the beach bars and restaurants with the personal touch. Dimitris and Nektanos on the front desk were brilliant and very helpful with information like booking taxis to and from the airport. Christos and Roula who served us breakfast were excellent also as nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast buffet is 20 Euro each but works out far better than walking into Ornos for breakfast as a bacon sandwich and a coffee was near 15 euro. This is a pretty little hotel thats well maintained and you can see the owners take pride in keeping the place looking tip top. There is a nice pool with a couple of smaller pools dotted around the property with padded sunbeds which will save you money as the cheapest beds on Ornos Beach are 40 Euro a day for a couple. We were in room 31 which had a fantastic view of Ornos bay but because this property is on a hill if you struggle with mobility issues you might want to request a room lower down. There is a maid service every day and a big thanks to Maria for keeping our room clean and tidy. I would have liked a walk in shower instead of over the bath but thats really the only small gripe we had. If you have a late flight as we did you can spend the day around the pool and there is a shower/changing room there to freshen up before you leave. If we ever return to Ornos we would definitely come back here.
