Everything is ok

Friendly team, big rooms , cafes and supermarket, pharmacy is 2 minutes walk. 5-10mnt drive by car from most of the locations we had to go.

I stayed here for a conference so the location was not in my control. However, it’s 30mins by tram from the center of Munich. Surrounding there is not many restaurants but there is a supermarket within 5 mins walk. The reception has a Starbucks so it’s very handy for the mornings if you don’t get their breakfast.

My experience at Sheraton Munich was extremely disappointing. I had booked a Super King room with a balcony, but upon arrival, I was given a room on the top floor without a balcony. When I spoke to the staff, who were unfriendly and seemed annoyed by my request, they told me they would grant me the room as if they were doing me a favor, despite the fact that I had paid for a room with a balcony. When my room was finally changed, I was given a room with a malfunctioning balcony. I woke up to find the balcony flooded with water, which forced me to check out a full day early. I received no compensation or even an apology for this terrible experience. It was very annoying and frustrating.

The location is little bit far away from Platz but not that bad

During the exhibition period, house prices are 2-3 times higher than usual. The hotel is in a very good location, near the U4 terminal, and it is very convenient to go to the city and transfer to the airport. There are Arabella Park and English Garden nearby, both worth a visit. There was an older woman at the check-out desk at the front desk. I don't know if it was a psychological problem or the Four Points by Sheraton was just like this: 1. A group of us arrived at ten o'clock in the morning and checked in one after another. I asked her if she could check in, and she He said yes, checked with my passport, and said the room would be available at 3 p.m., and asked me to wait in the lobby until 3 p.m. to check in. But other colleagues next to me had already checked in, so I went to the counter next to me to check in, and checked in smoothly. 2. There was no drinking water in the room. I called the front desk and asked for it. The older lady answered the phone and told me to use the water in the bathroom directly, saying that it was drinking water. I looked at the hotel kettle, but it was full of scale and I didn’t dare drink it, so I had to go downstairs to buy water. For a room that costs more than 2,000 RMB a night, the hardware and software are at this level. Apart from this little hiccup, everything else is fine. The room is relatively small, which is a bit surprising.

It was the European Cup semi-finals, and I was lucky to be able to book a hotel in this location. The room size was also OK. The hotel is large, a standard chain hotel, and the overall facilities are up to standard. Hotel rooms in Europe are not too new, but they are well maintained.
