About a 5min walk from Munich East Station, where many connections are available. Few stops from Marienplatz and the old town. Service was warm but not special; though the lady on the day of my departure was delightful. Room was spacious with a kitchenette, bathroom was large and well lit with good lighting. TV was smart with apps. However, cooking ware could be a bit cleaner (dusty/sticky), and towels took a long time to be delivered to the room. Note that the laundry room also does not provide detergent, which you need to get yourself. Luckily, at least 2 supermarkets are right downstairs. Breakfast was delicious but lacked variety and remained exactly the same over 3 days. Overall good for a quick stay if you need a comfortable place to rest and will be out most of the time.

Recently stayed at the residence inn with my family for 4 nights and it was the perfect choice. Took the train from the airport to the hotel which took just over half an hour and was easy to find. Lovely quiet location just a short walk to the station with regular trains into the centre. Corner room was very impressive with everything you need and the children loved it which makes everything easier ! Breakfast each day was great with so much choice and set you up for the day. Everyone was friendly and the hotel is immaculate. Will definitely be booking to return soon. Thank you :)

A fantastic time here at this hotel the rooms are amazing for children lots of space and bright. Wonderfully clean.Great shopping options downstairs which we used for milk etc. 5 mins from the train station at Ostbahnhof and just 8 mins into town. The staff were all lovely. Thank you to Hanna too. Will definitely be back, I really cannot complain. Thank you wonderful team

The room and hotel were so clean and quiet. I especially enjoyed the breakfast, so much so that I fought through my jet-lag every day to try and be the first one there.

There are a number of hotels in this area for the businesses that are here. I have tried the Moxy and the Adina and so far this is my favourite. The bed was comfortable (with a full sized duvet unlike the Adina with it's weird pair of singles) and there's hanging space (unlike the Moxy). The room was large with a nice bathroom that had everything you would need. There was a small kitchen but I didn't really test it out. The fridge could be turned down to zero so that it would shut up. Housekeeping didn't come very often. I was there for 5 days and they only came once. Not a problem for me as I hung towels to dry and kept the place tidy but something to note.

This hotel is very convenient to the East train station. It is a realistic 10 min walk, hauling suitcases. We walked back and forth for 4 nights, and it was very easy. We originally chose this hotel for its ease to get us to the airport very early in the morning, (no train changes) but it worked well for many other reasons. Breakfast was very good. Service was excellent. Our room was perfect. The hotel has a grocery store beneath it, which is nice. Getting into it the first night was challenging--you have to get buzzed in and then go up the elevator-but once we had our key, it was easy. I want to go back!!

Great service and kindness. Very attentive staff, particularly Aida, Hanna (the lady from Ukraine) Siregar. Clean rooms, convenient location (5 min away from S-U Babb stations and very complete breakfast. Totally recommend it. Rooms are spacious and well equipped.

The Residence Inn Ostbahnhof is in a great location - just a couple blocks from the train station. It was easy and quick getting everywhere we wanted in the city. The hotel looks pretty new and it's super clean. The room was spacious and had a great kitchenette area. We didn't experience any noises during our 5 night stay. We had lots of windows in our room and the curtains were so great at keeping the morning light out while we slept. One of my favorite aspects was the breakfast. It was such a great spread of German breakfast staples and some other favorites from other areas of the world. All of the staff was friendly from the front desk agents, houskeeping, and breakfast staff. I would stay here again and again. I cannot recommend it enough!

Spacious room, amazing breakfast, friendly staff made our brief stay memorable. Extremely expensive during Oktoberfest and lots of construction around the property.

The hotel is situated near the Ostbahnhof. On street level, you can not enter the hotel really - the reception is on first floor, and the elevator has a button for 1st floor, but it only works when you already have checked in. So you need to walk up ca 2 dozen stairs. The receptionist was very friendly, and check in went smoothly. I had not signed up for a Marriott membership but it would be recommended because WiFi speed / internet bandwidth was rather limited, and you get a premium Wifi pass for free after you have signed up. But not right away.... I waited several hours but still did not get the better access. The apartment style rooms on 3rd floor are well designed, very clean, almost sterile, in a modern ambiente. Right across a fitness studio or so, there was party sound until late night so no way to fall asleep when the window was open... The air conditioning did not really cool down but just circulated air. Only one power socket next to the bed, so when you want to charge your laptop, your phone and the smartwatch over there, you better bring a multicharger... The breakfast buffet was ok, but a few essentials really missing, e.g. no egg holder, eggs only in one cooking (hard, no soft eggs), and which of the various bottles did hold milk, skimmed milk, vanilla milk or whatever was not visible, so you had to guess... Orange juice was coming from a tap-water style dispenser, a mix of concentrate and water, not really a quality what you'd expect when paying almost 200 Euro per night... In the evenings, the receptionist is no longer available, but you have to go to the next hotel nearby, the Moxy. All in all ok, but like I said you pay for the Marriott brand, not for the service delivery you'd expect on that price level.

This hotel is clean, reasonably priced, and close to the train. The breakfast is amazing--- full Europe and American offerings. Super convenient and friendly staff. Highly recommend -had a small kitchen area/basic room.

Very nice and modern hotel. Spacious room and bathroom. Mini kitchen is a plus. Really good breakfast.
