I stayed here as a female solo traveller and they seem to arrange girls to be in a same room which felt pretty safe.

My stay at Backpackers was great. It was in a perfect location for reaching sights easily. There is great shopping, restaurants and the Gateway within steps. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I booked a private room and was very happy with the accommodation. It had a private bathroom. A/C and Wi-Fi both worked well. Will stay here again.

Great for solo traveller

We stayed in a private room with an attached bathroom. The room was very small, barely a place to move foot around or walk, it was difficult to reach from one place to another inside room as there was luggage as well. Bed was near and clean, bed sheets were fresh, running water was available. Stairs were damaged which increased the risk of falling down and the bathroom door was broken, it was not closing.

Best place to live in colaba, the location itself explains the price of the rooms. The staff was really friendly and helpful, all basic amenities were provided, the front desk was always ready to help in minutes.

The room was so clean and tidy. Mattress, pillow and comforter were all very clean. Highly impressive would recommend

Really accommodating stay. Allowed me to keep my luggage atleast 12 hours past my checkout time. Clean washrooms. A whisker away from all good places of south mumbai. Would like to go again.

It was an exciting experience, It was a work trip and I was traveling solo! This place has my heart now! ❤️ Such supportive owners and staff, dorms were well maintained, common space was great to hangout with books and games. One could feel alive🔆. Location is good, major attractions are nearby ***** with food joints, cafes. Highly recommended especially for solo traveling girls and women. Definitely coming back!❤️

The staff was good and cooperative. The place was up to the mark and cleanliness was also good. Will refer.

I will suggest go for room 307 as it’s a small room and we don’t need ac all the time in that room. Apart from this - the management is not good, all the staff are rude and very straightforward in a negative way which eventually no one liked it overt-here but as it’s cheap thin hotel so i can recommend this.

Friendly and personal service the staff were all very friendly and helpful and no request for assistance was a problem for them. The hotel is well situated, being close to shopping, transport, and the tourist sites. We would definitely stay there again.

Property location is very good, its in colaba, most of the tourist attraction is nearby just by walking distance
