"Mount Isa is not a pretty town but the motel was very spacious and set on a main road overlooking the city. Due to a puncture we had to extend a one night stay to a four day stay. The owners were very accommodating and whilst not ideal we made the most of it. Mainly looking for a replacement tyre which out of three outlets not one was to be found and so had to limp to the next town where a new tyre awaited us. So thank you Townview. Like all the places to stay in central Australia parking and getting around was easy."

"We arrived into Ibis Styles Hotel early evening, we received a good welcome at check-in. We were soon given a key card for the standard room that we booked. We also asked for a taxi to be booked for the following morning which was kindly arranged for us. The room was spacious but worn around the edges but had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The TV had a good range of channels, tea and coffee facilities were provided. The aircon worked well and there was no noise from outside. The bathroom was good with a small bathtub and powerful shower, wall mounted soap dispensers were provided. We left early the following morning so we didn't have the chance to have breakfast unfortunately. It was a good stay at the hotel, the price of the room was quite high however the room was spacious for the money paid. The staff were friendly and approachable, we would stay there if we visited Mount Isa again."

"This motel has electronic check-in. No human contact. The ensuite is part of the room and the shower screen is see through. The queen bed was comfortable. The room was not large but adequate. A kettle, toaster, microwave and electric frypan were provided along with two induction hot plates. Parking is not the best if you are in one of the three corner rooms."

"Genuinely one of the most comfortable mattresses in any motel I've ever stayed in (not overly springy). Room was compact but clean and comfortable with modern furnishings. Hotel provided a complementary drink in the bar on check in. Location is a very short drive from the downtown area. Would happily stay again."

"Excellent place to stay. Just opposite the mall with a supermarket. Cafes and fast food chains close by. A couple of minutes walk from the Greyhound bus stop if you're travelling that way like me. Recommended."

"I’m working in Mount Isa for 4 years. I’ve had a few meals there. Wouldn’t recommend it. Overpriced for what you get. It’s a rip off. Buffs and irsh club, much better value. Excellent meals. Best to avoid the isa hotel."

"We stayed two nights while we were passing through to see one day of the rodeo. We had one of the ensuite sites that was clean and tidy. It was a pleasure to have normal hot water that you could adjust just like home. After a few weeks in the Nt most park facilities were like mobile units of low quality. It was a bit cold in Aug to use the pool. The rodeo concert was on one night with noisy customers coming back all hours of the night as expected. Not a bad park for us."

"Very old and out dated. Bathroom and room cramped (can not swing a cat) double bed about foot from cook top. Floors dirty and no cleaning done during 7 day stay. No clothes hanging locations. Close to city area. Loud noises from hall next door (roller skating or dancing), creek with locals yelling and screaming. Would not stay here if was not pre paid stay!!"
