Sur la Mer

Sur La Mer is our favorite place. It is such a great hotel with an excellent service. You will enjoy Rajoo and Nayan who are running the place. They are lovely people. The rooms are nice and the food is to die for. Don't miss the chocolate fondant. It is more than tasty. We can't wait to come again. Eva & Thomas

Very well designed hotel and everything is functional. The food was very good and the staff were friendly. Rooms were clean and large and the mattress was very comfortable. A fantastic place to kick back and really get to relax. Would recommend to anyone. The owner Raju is a legend and was very welcoming. The space is very well designed and built to last a long time.

Stayed at this wonderful hotel last year for 9 days whilst attending a wedding. Accomodation and open spaces were well appointed and kept in good decorative order , scrupously clean. The Sur La Mer serves excellent food with attentive staff. What sets this hotel above others is the staff, my thanks to all of the team, those who we met during our stay to those behind the scenes - gardeners, housekeeping,chefs, kitchen porters for all their hard work. To succeed everyone must play their part.Special thanks to Dev at Guest Services Manager for his hospitality, this gentleman sets a fine example for all staff to follow. The Sul LA Mer Resort truly deserved it's five star status.

Last year in December We arrived not knowing if we would be able to book rooms we were 3 couples looking for one night stay. The dark front office guy was very helpful and professional with good knowledge of English. He helped us and we booked our rooms calling the owner of the resort and within less than an hour we were on the very clean and sandy Morjim beach enjoying beer. We ate in the resort restaurant . The food was exceptional and service was fast and courteous, we are already planning to return again to Surlamer, Goa to celebrate our Christmas and New Year 2025.

We were on holiday at the hotel with the whole family. My husband and two children, the children did not get out of the pool, my husband went to the beach. And I enjoyed the peace and privacy and the wonderful atmosphere of the hotel, which allows you to relax and get the most out of your holiday. I must express special gratitude to the cooks of this hotel, the cuisine was simply magnificent every day. We tried new dishes and one was better than the other, I have not tried such delicious cuisine in India anywhere.

I spent a weekend at Sur La Mer in Morjim, and it was an absolute treat. From the moment I arrived, the owners greeted me with such warmth and hospitality that I felt instantly at home. Their genuine care and attention to detail made the stay unforgettable. The food was phenomenal! The steak was tender and perfectly cooked, and the Brazilian fish was bursting with unique and vibrant flavors – both dishes were culinary highlights that I’ll remember for a long time. The pool was stunning – clean, inviting, and surrounded by a serene ambiance. With soft music playing in the background, it was the perfect place to unwind. Another major plus is the hotel’s location: it’s just a short distance from a wonderful beach, ideal for morning strolls or soaking in Goa’s natural beauty. Despite the quiet and peaceful setting, the hotel is also close to great restaurants and local sights, offering the best of both worlds. If you’re looking for a relaxing weekend escape with incredible food, heartwarming hospitality, and easy access to a gorgeous beach, Sur La Mer is the place to be. Highly recommended!
