Happy to recommend both this venue and Mole Creek. We enjoyed 3 nights and loved the fire, wandering around the many and beautiful gardens, and the fact we could cook / dine in. The bathroom was perhaps dated, but the bed comfortable. Was very grateful at the kind offer to use the laundry. Location wise, there are lots to great walks in the area. Also 2 pubs 5 minutes down the road.

WE stayed 2 nights at Old Wesleydale Heritage in Apil 2022. Loved the accommodation and the grounds dating back to 1838 with the old Barn. Their neighbour is the Trowunna Wildlife (Tassie Devils) Centre.

We stayed for 2 nights at cottage while visiting the molecreek caves. It was every thing you could want in an heritage cottage. First class amenities. A fantastic wood fire which keep us warm on those cold nights the area has in winter. You have a full kitchen with brekky provisions included. A very comfortable bed and exceptional shower pressure for a countrypropery. It was a highlight of our trip. The garden will be just beautiful in late spring/summer. Unfortunately the elephant hedge is no longer there , the cows got in and ate it.A real shame as we were looking forward to seeing it. Deb is a very friendly host and does a great job. Thanks for the stay and we hope to come back another time when the garden is in flower.
