Casa de Piedra has wonderful gardens and a beautiful setting and only at 5 minutes from the main plaza of Mindo. Henry and all the staff were very friendly and ready to assist you. I loved its breakfast, specially the coffee. I highly recommend this place."

"I was directed to this small hotel by a local when my booking elsewhere fell through at the last minute. The rooms are modern and comfortable - mine had a jacuzzi - and most/all? overlook a subtropical garden full of flowers and birds. The owner is exceptionally helpful. She is a mini tourist office and can for example sell you tickets to various attractions including the butterfly farm. Note that she does not accept credit cards. The price was extremely reasonable, 75 US dollars per night for a double room including breakfast."

We arrived very late and they welcomed us very well, taking the time to bring us water, showing us to our bungalow, etc. The breakfast is very good and they change it everyday. The garden is beautiful and the pool is very nice. We liked our bungalow too, very secluded. The hotel is very conveniently located, near the city centre. We had a lovely stay there. "
