Very good onsen !

The tatami in the room is clean, but the toilet is not well ventilated. The service is very good, and I made an appointment in advance. It is about 10 minutes drive from the hot spring town. The food is very thoughtful and great! The temperature of the hot spring is very good and comfortable. It is so comfortable to book a private place during the off-season!

The hot spring hotel in the mountains has a very ancient ghost story feel. There are three large baths, including mixed baths! There are also three family-style bathhouses. No reservation is required, and you can go in without anyone else. The service is very kind. I told them that I am not good at eating fish, so they replaced the fish with meat for me.

Accommodation) I stayed in the main building, and it was clean and had a charming traditional feel! There were not many people on the day we stayed, so we used it like a private bath, and there were men's and women's baths, 2 family baths, and a mixed bath. Lovely staff, large room in a beautiful ryokan. A large onsen and 2 small individual ones. Very good breakfast. Ideal location next to kurakowa onsen (Edo village), Daikanbo scenic point and Mount Aso. Excellent value.
