"Our fav hotel of the trip (out of 6!)! This is a really special place and hope to return. Room = Faros the Superior - I highly recommend! ▪ Pro: • Room modern and well done with some neat design touches. Had AC that actually worked! • Our room had a great patio and plunge pool looking over the cove of Faros. I loved the view and both sun and shade loungers were so comfortable! • 5 minute walk to 3 different beaches, each with places to eat. o Note: They beaches are semi ‘scrappy’ compared to what we may be used to in the IS. ie: they aren’t maintained with someone clearing rocks/branches but are pretty in their own way. • 5 minute walk to several water front places to eat. • Neat outdoor gym! • Has a sauna at the spa! Also great food & staff! ▪ Con: • The 5-minute walk in both directions to the local beaches is a walk along a road with both nice villas and abandoned construction, so not the most picturesque. Really just saying this to list a con. • The view of the pool is slightly interrupted by a villa further down the sloop on the cliff edge. • The spa is fully outside so not something to do if the weather is bad, which is too bad bc that’s part of the glory of a spa day on vacation. Also, the Sauna is next to the treatment space so a guest can’t use the Sauna if someone is getting a treatment. They should have put it in the gym!"

"Such a nice hotel! The staff were super handy and arranged all transport for us, as well as serving up a great breakfast every morning on the terrace which was a lovely way to start the day. The rooms were spacious, clean and well presented. With a terrace which felt private and had a good view of sunset. It’s a short walk from Faros beach, but to get to other parts of the island you need a car or taxi. Taxis were limited on the island so some pre planning is needed, ideally you would rent a car."

This hotel was beautiful with incredible energy, specious rooms, friendly people and helpful staff. It was peaceful and quite but yet only 5 mins from the beach. "We have stayed at Windmill Bella Vista many times - always in the summer. We are always warmly welcomed by Margarita, Yiorgos and their team who make our holidays magical. We have stayed in most of the beautiful apartments, tastefully decorated in the traditional island style and kept spotlessly clean by attentive staff. We love the fact that the mill complex is surrounded by the Sifnian countryside with views of the terraces and magnificent seaviews. Situated next to the footpath network of Sifnos Trails, Windmill Bella Vista is ideal for hikers, walkers and nature lovers. Our most recent visit was a few days ago - the beginning of May. We saw a green Sifnos full of Spring flowers - see the photo taken behind Windmill Bella Vista, which is just visible in the distance. Even though we were only a few guests there was a feast of a breakfast laid on with local biscuits, bread and cakes as well as the usual breakfast fare. One amazing feature of Windmill Bella Vista is the generosity of the hosts: The bar is left open all the time, so that guests can help themselves to alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments whenever they want. This really is a unique place to stay."

"A very nice hotel. It looks unremarkable from the outside. There is a photo next to the front desk that I can’t find. The hotel is decorated in a resort style with casual details everywhere. The room is mainly in light colors. The room is large enough and the bathroom is private. The most important thing about dry and wet separation is that it is very close to the seaside and pier, less than 100 meters away, which is very convenient. There are candies at the front desk of the hotel. Later I saw 9💶500 grams in Athens. They are not cheap. Every time I pass by, I will take two pieces. An old man must have never said not to allow it. It is very nice and friendly. The breakfast is very rich. It must be a five-star review!"

"The attentive service by Ionnis and staff was top rate. We weren’t sure when he slept. Sergio kept us entertained. The food at dinner was delicious. Try the Octopus and Fava Beans. Yes, go into town for dinner at one of the fine restaurants. But make sure you have 1-2 dinners on the property. And cocktails on the veranda to watch one of the best sunsets, we won’t soon forget.
