"Staying in Mianyang, I chose the Hampton by Hilton Fucheng for my entire trip, and I liked it more and more with each passing day. What I was most satisfied with was the air conditioning. When traveling for business in the summer, I always dread hotels with weak AC, but this place had excellent temperature control. The room maintained a comfortable temperature throughout my stay and was very quiet, so my work and rest at night were never disturbed. The Mianyang rice noodles for breakfast were my daily motivation to wake up. The broth was rich and flavorful, the toppings were plentiful, and they were generous with the beef. A bowl of those noodles really perked me up. The hotel also has a gym and laundry room, which is very convenient for longer stays. Highly recommend!"

The scenic bathtub was a fantastic experience; a hot bath in the evening really soothed away travel fatigue. The hotel amenities are comprehensive, with the heated pool and gym fully operational. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, and the Mianyang rice noodles are a must-try – full of local flavor. The staff were warm and courteous, check-in was efficient, and any requests were handled smoothly. It's perfect for a short leisure getaway, whether with friends or as a couple. "Celebrity Youngsun Hotel is a smaller sister hotel attached to the more premium Xinhua Hotel. Xinhua Hotel appears to be the main business while Celebrity Youngsun is the cheaper stay located in an inconvenient to access annexe building quite a walk away from the reception. Further, the annexe building itself has narrow stairs and corridors, no elevators provided (really troublesome if you have luggage) and the corridors and stairs are poorly lit and rather dark and a bit spooky for the faint of heart. Location thus gets a low score as the only plus point is that it is close to several bus stops and not too far from the Yuewang Tower. Amenities are decent and free breakfast is included in the stay with a decent spread provided. The hotel also has a rather popular restaurant, but as there was an event going on, did not have a chance to dine there."
