Santa Casa by Tasman

The most positive aspect of this property is the location. It’s in the heart of the Roma area and within a very short walk to some of the best restaurants and bars in CDMX. The staff are also friendly. However, the property is a bit run down, furniture worn out, it’s not clean enough. For example, some of the furniture was dusty, the toilet roll holder was broken, just little things that weren’t quite right which brings the property down. It’s a shame as it has so much potential. The location and the building itself is great.

This property is so cute and a hidden gem in the neighborhood. There is a lot to walk to within the area and the next neighborhoods over. Its relatively quiet (for a big city) and the courtyard within the property makes you feel like youve been transported elsewhere. There is no AC but its nice to open the windows and have the fans bring in the cool air. The complimentary tea, coffee, and water is the cherry on top. The wifi was always strong for working or streaming. I stayed here for 4 nights and would stay here again.

Beautiful property and great location, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Got check-in details 24hours prior. The room had no A/C but a fan was sufficient for spring weather, hard to ventilate the room because the windows are huge so if you want to open them you are completely visible from the street, plus it is very noisy outside. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We didn't get hot water when trying to shower around noon one day, but it otherwise was fine with good pressure. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location and property. The staff are all very friendly and helpful willing to go above and beyond. Make sure you receive the pin before arriving. We preferred the rooms at the front for their large windows. Rooms are clean and well kept. Would stay again

Great building and nicely decorated bedrooms, with amazing big windows. The bathrooms were a bit run down and there was an issue with no water. It’s a great place for nomad workers to base themselves, but could do with a little more updates in the room. Communal areas excellent! The staff that we saw were friendly, and the rooms were very quiet at night, despite being in an area with an abundance of bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Great area to be based in!

This was a very nice clean hotel in a great location, walkable or a short taxi to many museums and historic sites. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Great location. It really felt like a home away from home due to both serene surroundings and charming hosts. Special thanks to incredibly friendly Sandra for making my short stay wonderful, from the moment I called about my last minute booking while rushing on the metro, later the best food/city tips and just general random inquiries. Will definately stay here again☺️
