Had such a good time. Hotel had everything we needed. Breakfast was amazing.

Hotel recomemdable 100%. Buffet genial, habitación espectacular, aparcamiento gratuito y super accesible. Volvería si o si.

Nos tuvieron esperando para entrar. Prácticamente una hora antes del check out nos querían echar molestandonos en la habitación. Los desayunos y cenas faltaban siempre cosas y faltaba limpieza.

Super, el Hotel esta en mejor sitio, muy limpio, con vistas espectaculares, con gran piscina, buena comisa. y muy agradable personal.

we booked this holiday last minute although we had been looking at the hotel for quite a long time. we were aware that the actual resort had only a couple of bars and restaurants and only one little supermarket near nearby. As soon as we walked into the hotel, we were made A feel incredibly welcome and all the facilities were explained clearly to us. we really enjoyed the range of food that were on offer at lunch and dinner and enjoyed finding out what the theme was for the evening meal. Travelling with a 16 and 17-year-old it’s difficult to get the mix right and whilst there is an older clientele there both of my children thoroughly enjoyed the activities that were planned and on offer. The range of activities that are organised by the entertainment team are fun and engaging and it’s nice to see the actual entertainment team being fully involved and taking part themselves. it is a shame sometimes that people didn’t get involved but that is their choice of holiday. The hotel itself was perfect for us and we would certainly return again. This has been one of our best family holidays for awhile in terms of time to relax time to join in and range of sports facilities. Being able to use the shuttlebus to punta prima was invaluable. Just keep in mind that you need to book this bus well in advance if you’re planning to make use of it. I highly recommend the guided walk with Nacho, going off the beaten track and finding such a beautiful spot was amazing and was one of the highlights of our holiday. as a result, we walked from the hotel to Punta Prima as he had suggested this.

Our stay at the Alua Illa De Menorca was brilliant, the hotel was clean and airy, the reception staff very welcoming and helpful. Bar Staff always happy to serve you with a smile and very efficient. The entertainment Staff put in 100% to make sure everyone had a good time. Good choice of food in the restaurant and pool bar along with the happy service received from the restaurant staff. Overall the holiday was very well received and I would recommend this hotel.

Stayed here from 10th JUNE until 16th JUNE relaxing quiet time just what my wife and I wanted Food was sometimes a little cold but there were microwaves available is necessary

Brilliant holiday! Lovely and clean hotel/rooms, pool and sunbathing area well kept. But the staff were something else! Always smiley, chatty (made huge efforts to speak English and any other languages needed) all very friendly especially Elia (lifeguard) and Nacho (entertainment)..both extremely good at their jobs and are a credit to the hotel! Genuinely lovely people. Looking forward to retuning 😊

Another wonderful week at the Alua Illa. My fifth time in 8 years. My previous reviews of the hotel still hold true and may provide some insight, so here are just some tips, which you might find useful. (Please excuse typos. I wrote this quickly in the hotel lounge ) Al the staff and really lovely. If you lose anything like reading glasses by the pool, they are often put on top of the metal box behind the bar Bus to Mahon. Bus stop 50 yards away. €1.80. It takes 20 minutes. Walk to the Cami de Cavalls to Alcafaur beach (20mins) and Punta Prima (3 miles?) . You’ll need trainers. Or the opposite way towards Cala Rafalets. There are 2 supermarkets. One across the road. On in the Square a few hundred yards away. S’Algar is very quiet and chilled. Not a party place. The hotel is chilled and fun tho. A good combo. There water machines by the main bar and pool bar to top up your bottles. Draft San Mig and wines in the restaurant. Bottles of cava too.- plenty. There is a coffee machine by the inside bar free to use all day. I like it strong so add a shot of espresso too. There are always sun beds. QUESTION TO THE HOTEL: For solo travellers, maybe organise a relaxed, casual event once or trice a week for solos all ages and nationalities to meet and chat. Maybe the same for older teens too. The sea view is worth it. The hotel seems to mostly comprise Brits, Spanish and French. You can book an early breakfast in the restaurant if you are leaving early. Or on an early trip. DANI the barman - superstar. Always a smile and v helpful. Made my fave drink most nights for me and said he might make it cocktail of the week one day 😂. (Gin, limoncello, soda, ice, 2 slices of lemon. I “invented” it last year and call it the Juanita. Try one!). For a chilled break in a lovely, welcoming and fun hotel, this is the place. You can be quiet and be by yourself or join in the activities. The staff are not in your face and just make you gently aware of what’s going on. For food and more general detail. Thoroughly enjoyed our week in the Allua Illa De Menorca. Lovely modern, clean hotel. All hotel staff friendly and helpful. Rooms adequate size and cleaned well daily. We were on 3rd floor which was perfect with beautiful sea view. Food had lots of choice to cater for all tastes. Pool large with plenty of sunbeds, could be improved by availability of more umbrellas. Entertainment acts good, Nacho from the hotel team was superb and ably assisted by Ursula and Sandra made evenings fun. Lots of lounging areas in hotel for relaxing, playing cards etc. Separate sports bar (Jumpers) facilities great just a short walk away. Resort very quiet but clean and pleasant to walk around. No beach, but if you’ve done your homework before booking that’s no surprise. Little train is fun. Short walk to Alcufar or onwards to Punta Prima if you want to stretch your legs.

Room cleaned every day, usually when I went to breakfast, meaning no inconvenience having to sit on the balcony while the maid went about her work. Pleasantly surprised to have access to a room safe at no extra cost when most places charge 2/3 euros a day. Nice touch. Only minor gripe I have, was on the morning I was leaving I was due to be picked up around 8am, meaning I would miss breakfast, as breakfast was served between 8 and 10:30, but unknown to me I could have booked an early slot. I never thought to ask, so mea culpa, but perhaps the staff could make people aware of this service. As I say a very minor gripe on a very pleasant stay.

Overall a very peaceful holiday all being the hotel is out in the middle of nowhere. Shuttle available into town.Food tepid at most. No smoking signs should be placed on the balcony. Good selection of all inclusive drinks
