"The location is great, not far from the botanical garden, and right next to a large supermarket and farmers' market. There's no need to take a taxi to the Starlight Night Market at night; the streets are full of food stalls. However, the fruit here didn't seem very fresh. The guesthouse seemed recently renovated. The young man helped us check in and specially chose a super large room for us—a two-bedroom apartment with a kitchen in the middle. Unfortunately, we had an elderly person with us who needed a toilet, so we missed out on the larger room. The toilet was supposed to be a smart toilet, but it seemed to only have a heating function, unlike the ones at home. It didn't have a bidet function, but we were still very satisfied. The guesthouse has an elevator, what more could you ask for? If every room had a toilet, it would be even more convenient for travelers, since after a long day of hiking, everyone wants to sit down and relieve themselves. I wish the host great success in their business. I'll definitely stay at your place again if I have the chance."

"I initially went the wrong way, taking the long staircase from the restaurant. The receptionist came to meet me and even helped carry my suitcase up all those steps – I was very grateful! The room was very clean, and the view from the river is absolutely stunning if you book a room with that view. The hotel has a telescope, and my child was curious. The owner patiently set it up and adjusted it so my child could look at the moon. There are also paid astronomy education activities using more sophisticated instruments and professional instructors. Unfortunately, I didn't know I needed to book a day in advance, which was a bit of a disappointment. Maybe I'll come back in the summer! After checking in, we were notified at the last minute that a performance was planned, which was a wonderful surprise. Apparently, if there are many guests, they also arrange a bonfire party."

A special thanks to the staff who helped me out when I had a stomachache one night – they arranged for the kitchen to make me noodles and then delivered rice porridge to my room the next day. Also, a shout-out to the short-haired woman (I'm not sure if she was a manager) who made chocolate milk for my child one evening. Most importantly, I want to commend the male and female staff members who accompanied us to the Dai village. The male staff member, in particular, held an umbrella for us the entire time and even bought us water out of his own pocket when it rained in the village, kindly refusing when I tried to pay him back. I was deeply touched. Overall, the hotel's environment and service are absolutely top-notch. It's true that the variety of dishes is a bit limited, but I understand that transportation in Xishuangbanna is generally inconvenient. However, the hotel's service is genuinely the best I've ever experienced. They never refused any request from guests, and often went above and beyond. For example, when I initially mentioned that the breakfast wasn't perfect, the chef personally came out to ask what I'd like, offering to prepare it. The exceptional service more than made up for the limited food options. Even after leaving, I still miss the place. It's a fantastic choice for a holiday hotel. Here's a suggestion for the hotel: perhaps you could add more variety to your dining options and restaurants, like hotpot or some simple meal choices."

"The hotel has a great location, near the Chinese Academy of Sciences Botanical Garden, within walking distance. There are also many places to eat and shop nearby. The hotel has a parking lot, but there aren't many spaces. We parked in another parking lot next door, but the entrance was small and had a very steep ramp, making it difficult for large cars or cars with low ground clearance to enter. Even though we arrived quite late, the owner was still very helpful and came down to direct us to parking. Without his help, we probably wouldn't have been able to park ourselves. Daytime parking on the roadside in Menglun is charged. The room was very spacious; we booked a twin room, but there were three beds in the room, although one bed wasn't made. The hotel is actually a converted self-built house in a village, so the layout is a bit strange. The toilet is very small, and the window overlooks the opposite building's exterior wall. However, it has smart furniture, allowing control of the lights and curtains. Even the small toilet has a smart toilet."

"The Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is about 50 kilometers from Jinghong city. Its East and West sections are quite large, and a full day isn't enough to explore everything. I'd read stories about botanists from the Academy before, so I made the botanical garden a priority and decided to stay at a hotel within it. The room rate I booked online included entrance tickets, which made it a pretty good deal for two people. After our rental car arrived at the East Gate, I called the hotel front desk, and they allowed us to enter. On the afternoon of our arrival, we explored the larger East Section's rainforest, which offered a stunning view of various rainforest vegetation. The hotel's restaurant was quite good; the local dishes at dinner were authentic, and I even saw family gatherings of XTBG staff – quite a change from how their predecessors lived! The next morning, we hired a guide and toured the different areas of the West Section. All in all, choosing to stay at the botanical garden hotel made this trip incredibly rewarding. Facilities: The in-room facilities met our needs, and the small balcony offered views of the flora and fauna. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: The botanical garden environment is unique and relaxing. Service: The front desk and restaurant service were excellent, and the breakfast offered a good variety, including local specialty snacks."
