Beautiful location awesome property we loved it. One improvement can be, include Indian food in their breakfast buffet and Dinner buffet so that we don't end up disappointed with food next time with which we were quite disappointed this time. If not authentic Indian food atleast veg pizza will work, as most of the Indians like pizza.

L’emplacement de l’hôtel n’est pas idéal, très très venteux, c’est limite insupportable. Les chambres sont correctes, le personnel est agréable. Néanmoins l’emplacement de ma chambre n’était pas idéal, des 8h j’entends les aller retour avec les chariots de ménage et cela tous les jours c’était un peu lourd. Dommage car l’hôtel en lui même est très sympa, mais le vent gâche tout. Je vous conseille de privilégier plus l’ouest (grand baie etc) beaucoup moins de vent. De plus vous ne pourriez pas bien nagé dans la "plage"

Stayed for 7 nights at the end of March and had an absolutely amazing time. We stayed in a seafront room and the view was perfect. We walked out of the room and on to the beach, it was like a dream! The room felt quite private too as there were trees outside and a small path. The room itself was good - there was plenty of space and the bed was comfy. Some things were starting to look a little tired but nothing that we paid much attention to. Other points to note about the room - we thought the mini bar concept was a good idea and we were quite happy going to the ‘shop’. Having an umbrella available was also a good idea! There are limited toiletries or ‘extra touches’ so would recommend bringing your own. I also wanted to mention our room attendant Ajay as he did a great job and was so friendly - always stopping to check on us if he saw as us as he was passing by our room! The daily hotel tour is a great idea as it helps you get your bearings straight away and means you don’t miss anything. We also appreciated being able to check in to our room and then go straight to the ‘late riser’ breakfast when we arrived at 10am after a long flight from the UK. The location of the hotel is quite secluded and there isn’t much in walking distance. We did walk to the red roof church (approx 30 minutes from the marine discovery centre - cut through past the beach and along one straight road without much pavement). We did a trip to Grand Baie on one day with a taxi driver from outside the hotel and then we hired him again the following day for a tour tailored to the places we wanted to go - would recommend doing it this way. The entertainment was quite mixed - we loved the sega dancing night but other than that it was very low key and not to our taste, however the performers were talented. The day time entertainment was low key too (even the pool party!) but the entertainment guy was good and wasn’t too pushy, I even joined in with aqua aerobics a couple of times due to his approach! We preferred the main pool as we found the coral pool a bit too quiet - even though it was lovely! I also thought the beach was nice and by no means as ‘tiny’ as other reviews have indicated. It’s not a beach for long walks but it was more than adequate with plenty of loungers. The hotel has lots of choice of water sports included - we hired a pedalo and also went on the snorkelling tour which we enjoyed. We went on the sunset cruise (additional cost) and had such a great time, a real highlight of our holiday. Worth noting that the boat trips can vary depending on weather and tide conditions. Would also recommend popping into the Marine discovery centre - the staff are really engaging and it’s great to learn some new things. The hotel grounds and gardens are beautiful and you can see how hard the grounds staff are constantly working to keep it looking so lovely. We also enjoyed seeing lots of different birds. What a hotel! Can you believe we had a smoking toilet and water running from the shower?!!!! Never had that before in a hotel… That’s just a running joke we had and to catch the attention of the amazing staff. I am VERY late to writing my review of the hotel but it is better late than never! My husband and I had our Honeymoon in August 2024 (15-26th) We first went to Dubai and then ended at Lagoon Attitude. Through our travel counsellor, this hotel seemed to tick a lot of the boxes we were looking for when trying to find somewhere to book. We went during August which was the only availability we had for the length of time due to my job. The weather was hit and miss, we caught the tail end of an ‘anti-cyclone’ (that’s what they call it). Despite having showers, wind, sun and sun and cloud, the weather didn’t deter us and we knew this would be a high possibility when booking August (their winter season). In all honesty, the rainy days gave us time to simply relax and do NOTHING. Something very needed after planning a wedding. This was one concern I had as an avid sun and warmth chaser but in all honesty, I realised it didn’t matter in the end as that’s part and parcel with 1. Choosing somewhere halfway across the world during their winter months and 2. Exploring somewhere new (it was also a complete opposite from the 46 degrees heat in Dubai!) The auditorium gave us some shelter during the rainy time and it was here was got chatting to a bunch of wonderful couples. The hotel staff were top tier - they simply couldn’t do enough for us! They made us feel welcomed, at ease and important from the minute they arrived. A special mention goes out to Milana - girllll, I feel I’ve met you in a past life but you are top tier front of house! Your energy is superb and the hotel are lucky to have you! Carine is an angel and came to our rescue upon booking excursions, sorting out our takeaway breakfast and being there to answer and sort every question I had! The bar staff went above and beyond. My husband and I are pretty big drinkers but guys behind the bar quickly caught on to that and ensured we were never waiting with an empty glass. A special shout out to Akshay and Ashil - top two bar managers who got the brunt end of our pranks but were there ready to fix whatever ‘problem’ we had (see photos for reference). They honestly couldn’t t do enough for us and again, always ensured we were served quickly. Another shout out Kushan and Surrenda. We tipped the bar staff at the very beginning and front of house at the end because we loved the immediate, friendly service we received. I think regardless if we tipped or not, they would’ve delivered brilliant service but they worked SO hard we continued to tip at the end. The hotel might not offer the full 5star luxury that other hotels nearby offer but we seriously could not fault a single thing! Amazing!!!!!! Food, Cleanliness, Professional, yet friendly, Hanna, from the Wave Bar, girl, you were amazing. Lemongrass Manager and the manager from the Street Food and the restaurant, my husband had Lobster in, sorry can’t remember the name! They couldn’t do enough, for us. When food was not to our taste, they changed it, to suit our taste. No judgement. Entertainment, was amazing too. The reception staff, were second to none. I can’t say enough about the staff and the hotel!!! Definitely coming back. Oh and the towel ladies were amazing and the bar staff!!!! Don’t change guys!!! You’re all amazing

We travelled as a couple in March, stayed for 7 nights and had a really great stay. The staff are brilliant, the food was nice and there are ample activities to do. Pros: - The staff are excellent, and hard working. Particularly great are: Ganesha (Pool Bar), Uttam & Raoul (Daytime Water Activities). Two female staff on reception who’s name we sadly didn’t catch were equally brilliant. - General hotel grounds are really nice and well looked after. Coral Pool is particularly nice. - Gym well equipped if a little small. - The specialist restaurants are lovely - we particular liked Lemongrass. The buffet was always refilled and options very diverse. - The eco ethos was a different experience for us but one we really appreciated. - Water activities brilliant, we saw turtles, swam with tropical fish. - The shower cabin for the end of the holiday is a great idea, and super handy for a late departure. Cons: - The room was a little tired and could have perhaps done with an update and deep clean (it was clean enough to sleep and have a nice stay). - The toilet and shower don’t offer much privacy - they are in the room and within a glass enclosure. (not a problem for a couple but I can imagine awkward for friends or family). - Agree with other reviews on entertainment - quite poor and at nights there wasn’t lots to do. - Towels in the room are super tired and the hotel need to invest in some new ones! - Towards the end of the stay the hotel felt VERY busy, and there was often not many places to sit in the day or at night. - Our patio doors were not very secure at all - the locking mechanism had eroded and if someone wanted to get in, it would not have taken much effort. That said, the grounds feel very safe and it wasn’t a worry (we raised this with the Hotel). Overall, we had a great stay - I think if you are looking for something uber luxury and ‘beachy’, maybe not the hotel for you. But if you are looking for somewhere with a relaxing vibe, attentive staff and a chance to unplug and unwind - definitely a great option.
