Radisson Blu la Poste Lafayette Resort and Spa

The hotel is basic but nestled on a beautiful beach. We came with friends and they messed up their booking initially and gave them rooms across the road, while we were booked for a higher category. After making a noise, they moved them the next day to good sea facing rooms in the main building. Staff are the ones, who can make or break your staff and here we had a mixed bag. While people like Shivam, Nishta, Temmy were exceptional, so were the HK ladies, very polite and courteous. Some of the other staff needed training in basic courtesy. They were rude and did not show any willingness to help you. Food was very repetitive. Staying for 5 days made us sick of the same food. However, since I was vegetarian, they always did something special for me. Appreciated that. If only all the staff were courteous, would have made our stay even better. The WC had stubborn stains and for the money we paid, expected a defect free room.

Staff were absolutely fantastic couldn’t do anymore for you,disappointed at first as got put in room across the road but as soon as they knew I wasn’t happy they moved us to proper rooms at hotel,also disappointed as after nearly 18 hours travelling and arriving didn’t have room ready till 3.30pm we arrived at 10.30am so not good,they are not properly organised for rainy night’s entertainment was good but always had to pack up early due to rain you would think they would sort rainproof cover?there was absolutely no activity’s on even though the odd time they had board out saying there was things on it never happened bar all this hotel,food and drinks were good

We came to the hotel for our Honeymoon in July and have been meaning to write a review ever since! We cannot recommend this hotel to people enough. The setting is gorgeous, it is well maintained, the rooms are lovely and the staff are so so helpful. While we were there I got food poisoning from a place away from the hotel. The staff were so helpful brining up apple juice and other types of juice to get my sugar levels and hydration back up throughout and the day and night. They would leave it outside our room so they didn’t bother us and check with my husband how I was every morning. We felt that really shows the attention and care the staff have for their residents. Before I was unwell, we took part in star gazing that the hotel put on. We were able to see Saturn, a variety of constellations and the edge of the Milky Way! The snorkelling is also incredible. Being able to do it so easily, knowing you were safe and having hundreds of different fish to see! Overall, the hotel was heaven on earth!

Hi..I'm a guest from #3204..I'm very happy about the service ..especially the frontoffice team who warmly welcome me.and the porter who take care of my bag..the young lady who makes my room also very attentive and caring..the aqua bar staffs makes me comfortable..they did a great job n also there's a lady at the buffet

Not a 4 star hotel Very poor service! Room was not that good There was insects in the room and no hot water there was discrimination between mauritian and european which is not a startard of the hotel At the Bar the service was very slow and staff were not friendly!! For tea time only crepe to eat and when i ask for a plat i was told to take a saucer And the staffs were rude!!! It was so stressful and a bad experience No recommend
