Good accommodation, friendly, helpful staff, excellent dining, good facilities, clean and convenient location. An oasis away from the crowds, yet easy walk to the beach if you wanted to visit. Fully recommend this hotel for senior citizens, restful but with very good facilities for exercise, keeping fit and treatments.

Outstanding hotel in all areas. Friendly professional staff, delicious plentiful food, tasteful decor. Rooms were very well equipped and pool area had plenty of sun beds with very helpful pool man!. I loved everything and will definitely return.

Just back from a wonderful week at The Residencia - the folk that run this hotel relly know how to do it. They gave us a duff room to start but moved us the following day with no fuss to a great room. The atmosphere at the hotel is very calm, the pool was beautiful and not crowded. We were on half board and can say we thoroughly enjoyed the food both in the terrace restaurant in the evening and the pool bar restaurant for lunch. The Hotel is just a short walk from the Maspalomas beach and promenade where there are shops and cafes but we really didn't feel the need to venture out - beyond exploring. A lot of the clientele had been before (always a good sign) Would we go back? Definitely. This is not a family hotel, it is a delightful and luxurious escape to the sun.

I can't remember how often I've been here but it seems to get better every time I come. I've stayed in many good hotels, including The Ritz in London but La Residencia is very special. Amazing service and wonderful staff. I'd like to highlight Geronimo in the restaurant along with Beatrice who makes heavenly Eggs Benedict. No loud music, no shouted mobile phone conversations - just beautiful peace and quiet. The food is of exceptional quality and the breakfast buffet is to die for. The buffet evenings didn't feature lobster this time as they have in the past which is a shame but the meat on offer was top quality. I've recommended the hotel to my friend who runs an upmarket travel agency and know she has sent clients your way who loved it. Arriving again in July for two weeks and very much looking forward to it.

Out stay in summer was real good. It was a short stay but we did like the atmosphere friendliness overall service level very much. It has no direct connection to the beach so if you beach and swimming in the sea is a must it’s actually one negative point. It’s a secluded oasis though

Lovely stay at this super hotel, second stay this year but shorter this time. Staff outstanding as always with proper five star service. I had a standard room this time which was perfect, I like the fact that the WiFi is strong and there are smart TVs in the bedroom. Look forward to returning in 2025 (already booked)

First of all I can only speak for our personal experience so having read other reviews before booking we had very high expectations . We stayed half board and can confirm the food is to the highest standard however the staff did not communicate to us until the 5th night we were there that you can swap a fish or meat dish from the aka carte menu so was very disappointed with this. We also found that if you were sitting round the pool or in the piano bar prior to 6pm no staff ever asked if they could get us a drink so we had to go to reception to ask if we could get a drink which is a first for us especially within a 5 star hotel & we have stayed in many. I was also disappointed with the location of our room especially as I had requested a view as we were celebrating my birthday but our room number 128 was on the ground floor and our view was bushes and behind the bushes was a large piece of waste land again not what I expected being. 5 star hotel and paying the price for a 5 star hotel . There are positives to the hotel in that it is very clean & quiet and a relaxing oasis from the hustle & bustle of Maspalomas. We also had a few other minor issues when we ordered a expensive bottle of wine with our meal the waiter forgot to bring this to our table & we had to chase it up after already eating two courses. So all in all not the 5 star experience we were expecting . I did fill in the question air the hotel left in our room & have also given this feedback via email to the hotel.

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff are all exceptionally friendly, the location is great (about a 5 minute walk to a marvellous sandy beach but also the same to shops, cafes and restaurants) but it is very quiet and relaxing. The food is the best I have eaten in a hotel. Consistently excellent both at breakfast and evening meal. I cannot fault the hotel and if we are ever visiting the Canary Islands again, I don’t think I could go anywhere else! Simply superb.

This hotel has been on our radar for quite a few years and we finally made it! The wait was well worth it as this must be one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The staff were always friendly and helpful (and plenty of them for a change as most places are having difficulty getting staff at the moment). The food was on a different level with pretty much fine dining menus every day, the choice and quality on offer was exceptional both at breakfast and dinner. The location is good as well, only a short walk to shops, bars and the sea. The only very minor moan is regarding the view from our room, a fence!! I know you don't spend much time in your room on holiday but it would have been nice to sit on the terrace and see something! Overall a fabulous place, expensive, yes, but if you can stretch to it you won't be disappointed.

We stayed already so many times at the Residencia hotel but the experience remains really exceptional. The hotel itself but especially the friendly and client service minded staff and the top quality of the food are bringing the top experience each time to life. Well done of the team.

This really was a perfect stay! I was there in august and it was great. Perfect service and a real happy staff. The food and drinks are really beyond expectation. I was surprised every day. In the comments I have read that its mostly old german people. Nothing wrong with both...:) But I noticed during my stay that there were lots of ages and nationalities. I loved that is was really a retreat kind of space. Hardly ever left the property cause there is simply nothing better around. I will go back for some me time :)

We have just spent a perfect week staying at this wonderful hotel. From being greeted when we arrived with a drink on the beautiful terrace and being shown around the hotel our first impressions were such a lovley atmosphere. Our room was lovely, the food superb and staff so friendly and helpful. You can tell that it is a very well run hotel in every way. Cannot wait to return. Very highly recommend.

Having been to Gran Caneria 4 times before , we thought we would try the Seaside residentia hotel as the sun always seems to shine in Maspolamas . We were not disapointed , great weather as opposed to the forcast were were led to believe when leaving England, 23-24 degree most days ,the Hotel was as stated ,great room ,great beds very clean and the staff could not do enough for you. The food was excellent plenty of choice with different themes most nights ,never had anything to complain about it was all as they stated on the website . All the staff ,cleaners ,waiters ,pool staff gardners front of house were all smiley and helpful and nothing was to much trouble for them . A great 10 day relaxing holiday ,you pay your money and take your choice , it was worth the extra ,credit to you all ,we ill be back
