Seaside Grand Hotel Residencia - Gran Lujo

Out stay in summer was real good. It was a short stay but we did like the atmosphere friendliness overall service level very much. It has no direct connection to the beach so if you beach and swimming in the sea is a must it’s actually one negative point. It’s a secluded oasis though

Hotel Gran Residencia was an oasis of calm and well being. Our room was very , comfortable, and well maintained and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful, polite and caring. Nothing was any trouble to them and someone was always on hand to help if we needed any. The food and service was excellent. The hotel added so much to our enjoyment of our first holiday in Grand Canaria and I was very sad to leave to go home . But I will return!

I’ve had this hotel in my radar for a while, it looked classy and elegant. Wanting to escape the dire British summer we booked a quick week here, and I’m happy to report it was as good as I’d hoped. We just had a lead in room on the ground floor which was perfect for our needs (we looked at the upgrades available and didn’t think they were worth the extra). The hotel is spotless, the staff professional and friendly. Food terrific, even bbq night (I hate buffets so was surprised to find that I enjoyed what was on offer! Btw we had lobster one night - heavenly). The clientele is of the mature variety, we are both 60 and felt ‘young’! There’s lots of places to eat nearby, and supermarkets too. If you’re planning a hotel only stay, enjoy great food, don’t mind the rather cheek by jowl pool side, this hotel ticks all your boxes.
