Absolutely fantastic guest house right in the centre of Marsalforn. Sonia, the hostess, is a wonderful, pleasant and caring person. The rooms are fairly small but perfectly functional and amazingly clean. The shower was very good and the surrounding area is quiet. Breakfast is excellent. There’s a special of the day or you can basically have what you want. All cooked fresh to order. Really enjoyed staying here.

Beautiful and comfy bed. Room tastefully furnished with great attention to detail. Shower fantastic. We told them we didn't eat meat, so they made us lovely omelettes as well as the cold buffet. Very friendly and helpful. Bus, beach, bars and restaurants all very close.

A wonderful stay at this guesthouse. Excellent service provided. Clean rooms, friendly staff and very good breakfast. Close to the beach. Will surely visit again. Highly recommended.

This will be our second visit to Maria Giovanna, again we were not disappointed. The place is spotless, comfortable rooms, excellent cooked breakfast to your liking in addition to a selection of cereals, jams , cakes, cheeses , hams etc. Hosts Sonia and her friendly staff made us welcome and provide an excellent service. Highly recommend. Just 2 minutes walk away from the sea. Thank you.

The BEST place to stay: lovely people, wonderful house, perfect „ambiente“! The house/ rooms are refurbished with knowledge and style, just wonderful: conserving tradition with modern elements. very clean and a good „smell“ all over the house. The breakfast with homemade jam, cakes and fruits (also cooked breakfast is available) is a piece of paradise on earth! Come again and stay forever.

This was my second visit this summer and I can’t think of anywhere else I would rather stay. Sonia and her team of wonderful ladies make you feel like you are at home. The house is impeccably clean, the breakfast is amazing and the staff always have a smile and time for a chat. This is a quaint family run guest house, two minutes from the bay. Excellent all round, comfortable and spotless room, good breakfast made to your liking, thank you to Sonia and all staff who are all friendly and helpful. Well done. Will definitely recommend.

Another great stay at the guesthouse. It has lost none of it`s quaintness and charm since I visited last year. The rooms are spotless, and the en suite fittings are of a high standard. I look forward to returning soon !

This is a family run guesthouse, and you can tell as it’s is just perfect in every way. The rooms are spacious, immaculately clean, with a wonderful modern bathroom. Beds were so comfortable so sleep was not a problem. Lovey selection for breakfast, from continental to the good old English and everything in between. The location could not be better either, out of the door, 20 paces or so and the promenade and beach awaits with a large number of restaurants bars etc. stay away from the big chain hotels and book a stay here. You won’t regret it.

I cannot rate this place highly enough We arrived late at night after being badly let down by an Airbnb on other side of island We were taken there by a local taxi driver We were met by Sonia and her dad They made us feel so so welcome We stayed in room 15 which had what I can only describe as a stunning princess and the pea type double and a single Fab air conditioning, modern lift and large modern bathroom Next morning we went for breakfast Everything from home made cakes and jams to full English , hams bread cheese etc and no trouble if you wanted to vary the offering Twenty second walk to the beach Spotlessly clean Sonia switches effortlessly between a number of languages Tv in each room had numerous satellite channels but they are affected by the wi fi which like everywhere on the island a bit hit and miss Such a shame as they have obviously invested heavily Do not miss the opportunity to visit the very best example of how a family run business should be Would not stay anywhere else

My 4th visit to this exquisite family run guest house. Sonia the owner makes my stay feel like I’m returning home to the family for another reunion. The room, always room 13 lol, is immaculate and perfect for my needs. Breakfast, a full English leaves you full for most of the day, not to mention the cakes that are available and all the other treats. The staff, the Ladies are wonderful and want nothing more than to make your stay the best, service at breakfast, the attention to detail when cleaning and always a friendly smile. I’m already planning my return for next year which seems so long away. Definitely would not stay anywhere else, for me this is the perfect place.

We stayed at this fantastic guesthouse at the beginning of August. The accommodation is perfect spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Sonia and her family and staff are all a great advert for the Maltese people, friendly and helpful. Try the homemade cakes at breakfast they are superb. We have already booked to go back next May for a week, which is the best recommendation we can give. Can't wait to be back there.
