This is a nice hotel situated near the beach with surrounding bars and restaurants. The staff is friendly and efficient and the rooms are clean and well appointed

The hotel is very close to the beach, and you can go for a walk on the beach in the morning, which is a great experience. In addition, the hotel service is also very good, helping to book taxis and recommend nearby restaurants.

Swimming pool beautiful in a small garden. Everything beautifully decorated with art. Doesn't look as nice from the outside as it is from the inside. An absolute must On behalf of these critical travelers. Take a room with a balcony, because otherwise you only have a hinged window. That was a bit disappointing. We had our dog with us and were therefore not allowed to go to the beautiful restaurants during lunch or dinner. This was not mentioned in the bookings. So unfortunately we cannot judge the food Massa itself is not much, visit Luca Pistoia Seinna really worth it.

Very courteous and helpful staff. Structure with excellent state of maintenance. Unfortunately the restaurant was booked for a wedding and we had to go out for dinner. Too bad not to provide seats for guests

Exceptional hotel, brilliant value and run superbly by the most friendly and helpful management team. From the check in staff to the bar staff every single member of staff was courteous, helpful and charming. It is a well located hotel, with well appointed rooms, lovely bar and outside areas and lovely sea views from many rooms. Cannot recommend highly enough

Didn't have real expectations, but it is a good Hotel, and excellent for a 4 stars, nothing to say about service, rooms, cleaniness. Special thanks to the reception : helpful, welcoming and efficient, the only points that need a bit of improvement : laundry : make sure you dry well the clothes. The other point : the restaurant, it is excellent by itself, but need more variety, it is more based on fish and suchi, as an international Hotel : need more variety, not everyone likes Suchis. Otherwise : Excellent choice in Marina Di Massa, I imagine it in the Summer!

We stayed in the Excelsior hotel for a sports dance event at the Carrara fair. Very clean hotel with attention to detail, excellent breakfast and friendly staff, we will certainly return for the next events. Thanks to all the staff

I went to the hotel restaurant, IL SESTANTE. Rich and particular menu, excellent dishes especially the first courses, price commensurate with the quality. Excellent service. The location is beautiful, especially in summer with a very beautiful panoramic terrace. To return.

I only slept one night in this hotel which I found clean, warm and with a room that was not large but very welcoming with excellent pillows! The only flaw is the steady noise of the heating which I think is a bit disturbing! Breakfast all very good and great choice

We stayed a few days in this wonderful 4-star hotel, but with 5-star services and staff! Renovated structure, very elegant and classy. Beautiful garden with well-kept swimming pool. Rooms with beautiful views of the Apuan Alps or the sea, carefully cleaned and equipped with very soft and pleasant to the touch bathrobes and slippers. Exceptional staff, courteous and available for our every request or need; I am referring to the reception, bar and breakfast, swimming pool and tidying up rooms. We will definitely return. Highly recommended!

The Excelsior Hotel is the emblem of the perfect holiday. From the moment you arrive, the very kind staff is at your complete disposal for any need and/or request. Clean environments, spacious rooms with a splendid view of the sea and attention to every detail. Among the many services that the structure offers, there is also an agreement with some beach establishments which, in my opinion, is convenient and effective for those who do not know the area. Very kind staff also at breakfast who on my birthday decided to give me a wonderful surprise by bringing me some pancakes at the table with the writing "Best wishes" (very welcome surprise 🥰). What can I say, I stayed for a week with my boyfriend and I didn't want to leave. See you soon!

Very nice hotel, extremely friendly and attentive service. Huge flaw: the agreement with Bagno Maria Pia, run by an arrogant and rude girl. Why send your customers to this ragpicker?! Suspend the collaboration immediately, you'll make an obscene impression on us.
