"Good value hotel right in the center of Maribor, close to the train and bus stations. Rooms are a bit small, but it was fine for me since I was traveling alone. Everything was clean, fast wifi and staff are friendly. The stay was very comfortable and would definitely return if I’m back in the city!"

"Beware - Shower produces scalding, burning hot water. The hotel cannot supply water to the showers constantly at the correct temperature. Suddenly the water goes very hot, all by itself, for a few seconds. Because of this, it is impossible to have a relaxed shower. I was told by the staff that the "hotel is trying to fix the issue" but this might simply mean the hotel needs to spend money on modernising the water temperature controls The fittings in my room were also outdated, and the telephone didn't seem to work Apart from this the hotel is OK. The breakfast is pretty decent"

"A wonderful location, right on the water overlooking the swans and lovely promenade. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The B and B was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to emails as I was setting up reservations. The breakfast was healthy and ready for us when we came downstairs. Our rooms were spacious, and allowed us to relax and recover from a long days adventure. We arrived by train, and was an easy walk once we headed towards the river."

The hotel furniture and amenities are quite practical and adequate. The included breakfast is well stocked with good variety. "We were checked in by a very unpleasant young lady that reminded us in a very rude manner that parking was EUR8 per day even when I said it's fine with us. One of the rooms we were given had a problem with the air conditioning, and luckily when we went down to the reception to complain, there was another person there that was very helpful and friendly, and he immediately changed it to a better room with a nice view facing the slope. We have stayed at even better 3-star hotels, but the 4-star rating of this hotel is really misleading, and should be downgraded. The rooms are very basic, outdated TV, slow internet unless with an additional fee for faster speed, terrible bathroom with low quality bathroom amenities, and an even worse shower stall. The nicer part of the hotel was the large lobby, and breakfast was quite decent. The only enjoyable experience we had, was going on the toboggan ride on the slope which was not part of the hotel."

"Our start was not very good as we struggled to find the hotel with a car. It is located on a walking street so we had our fair share of driving around before realized we had to stop at the poles and call the hotel to be able to enter to the street and the parking place. However, after finally finding it, we enjoyed the hotel a lot! The location is unbeatable straight in the center, and rooms were very modern, cosy and quiet. We also loved the breakfast with a lot of homemade and healthy products, the best we had in the whole 10 day roadtrip! Overall, a great stay and would recommend."

"Not a good time we had in Habakuk, wellness was unexpectadly closed before our arrival, nobody bothered to let us know or compensate. Very noisy ventilation! The room automatically switches of the lightsand they are unabble to switch on at 11am at the day of checkout, so if you are late, you cant see to pack your stuff."
