My son and I stayed here for 2 nights. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were kind and accommodating. The location is excellent, as it is close to many of Manila's tourist attractions. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it. My son loves the pancakes at Cafe Miranda🫶🏻

Nice room. Very friendly staff. Location is good pero medyo looban at ang daming tambay sa labas, medyo nakakatakot but accessible naman. Breakfast is great.

I recently stayed at City Garden Suites and would like to share both a commendation and some constructive feedback regarding my experience. First, I would like to highly commend Ms. Zsan for her outstanding service. After being assigned to a room that, while clean, had an unpleasant odor, I approached the front desk again for assistance. Ms. Zsan handled the situation with genuine care and professionalism. She went beyond simply checking the system—she actively coordinated with housekeeping via radio to personally verify room availability. Her initiative, attentiveness, and willingness to help truly define excellent customer service. She made us feel heard and valued, and her dedication reflects the kind of frontline service that leaves a lasting positive impression. On the other hand, I would like to offer constructive feedback regarding my experience with Ms. Acel. As a guest, first impressions matter, and my initial interaction with her during check-in was not very reassuring. When I inquired about the possibility of being assigned to a newly renovated room, I was informed that none were available, without much effort to further check or explore options. This gave me the impression that my request was not fully considered. The following day, when I needed to extend my stay, I spoke with her over the phone and requested an update regarding my concern, emphasizing the urgency as I needed to secure the current room rate online. However, after waiting for around 30 minutes without any callback, I had to follow up myself. During the follow-up, she asked for details I had already communicated earlier, which made it seem like the information was not properly noted or attended to. On the third day, I needed to extend my booking again. To avoid the same experience, I went directly to the front desk. Unfortunately, she was again the one available. Despite my previous experience, I still chose to give her another chance, hoping for a better interaction. However, the experience remained the same. Because of this, instead of extending my stay further, I decided to transfer to another hotel. I hope this feedback is received constructively. Frontline staff play a crucial role in shaping the overall guest experience. While Ms. Zsan demonstrated exceptional service and professionalism, there is an opportunity for improvement in consistency, attentiveness, and proactive assistance. With the right focus on these areas, guest satisfaction can be greatly enhanced.

Staying at City Garden Suites Manila turned out to be a great choice for exploring the historic side of Manila. The location is very convenient — just a short distance from Rizal Park, Intramuros, and shopping areas like Robinsons Place Manila. It made moving around the city easy without long travel time. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, perfect for resting after a full day of walking around Manila. What stood out the most was the hospitality of the staff — they were friendly, accommodating, and always ready to help. If you’re looking for a hotel that balances comfort, location, and affordability, this is definitely a good option when staying in Manila.

Will book a stay again. It was a great weekend. The hotel breakfast is excellent.

The room I stayed I had this pungent smell. The shower curtain really smell bad and needs to be sent to the laundry. Price is more on the high side compared to other hotels where I have stayed at the same price. So not attempt to park if it’s raining hard because the possibility of your car being flooded is high and parking is very limited. Their breakfast buffet is so so. Not much variety but the service was good. I ordered Grab Food one night, my food arrived and they never even tried to call me in my room which was a turn off.

Clean, functional, excellent location near the historic core. Not the fanciest hotel with the most luxurious amenities but it doesnt need to be for the price and value it offers

Nice place with good facilities. The staff are very approachable and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was really delicious. The only downside is that parking can be a bit difficult.

I’ve been in this hotel 3 times in 2025 it always is good the staff are great & always really friendly it’s like a second home to me I’ve been using it for 4 years now when in Manila & breakfast and meals is always excellent

Our stay in this hotel was good from Receptions staffs are all accomodating.. i will choose this for our next trip..

Great location, The room has the bad smell coming from outside, because the window at the toilet can not be closed. The check in and Check out process took way too long.
