Undoubtedly one of the friendliest hotels in the whole if the North. Amazing rooms complete with enormous bathtubs. Extraordinarily clean with great check in/check our times. An amazing place!

Very dated and poor quality. Bed was awful and the head board was resting on a screw in the wall to hold it up!
Very very rude reception staff. Asked if they had either another room with a plug socket next to the bed or an extension lead we could borrow for medical equipment that was needed to be plugged in overnight - got a flat no and very little interest or care was shown to the situation or our needs. Have never ever had such poor, ignorant service from a hotel receptionist who suggested that we could leave if we wanted to but we needed to sort cancelling them through trip which was our problem to deal with!!

No frills hotel. You get what you pay for.
During my stay, I could hear noise from neighbouring rooms and people walking up and down the corridor (early in the morning).

The location is super nice, down in the city centre. my room doesn’t have any window
so it’s a bit stuffy, they put a fan in the room. In general is quite good though based on the price.
