The hotel is 3 star but could quite easily reach four stars. The negatives for us were, no tea/coffee making facilities.or fridge in the room. Poor food descriptions in the restaurant. The rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels. The hotel was immaculate and the food was really really nice. The staff are a joy and nothing was too much trouble for them.

We had a three night stay booked here through Wowcher mystery holidays. We were self catering so cannot comment on the food, but the drinks were great and really reasonable! Staff were super friendly and fun, the reception staff were also helpful. Our room was spotless, fresh towels every day was great. Only negatives about the room were there was no table outside on the balcony which would have been nice, and there is also no fridge or kettle in the room. We had to pay a €5 deposit for a hairdryer which we felt was reasonable. The pool area is great, with bar staff coming to take orders for drinks whenever you like. The weather hasn’t been super hot, however we did notice lack of parasols which would definitely be needed in warmer weather as the pool area is a sun trap! The hotel is right on the *****, with a supermarket across the road and close proximity to the beach and train station. There are lots of shops and restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance. All in all for a budget hotel for a few nights this hotel has been great, we personally felt that more than 3 nights would probably be too long but for a short break away you cannot go wrong.

Currently staying at this hotel. No hair dryer, kettle or hair dryer. We decided to pay for dinner for two nights. The first night dinner was awful, food was all cold at 6:30pm, salad was old and brown, garlic bread was hard and stale, the chicken was over cooked and dry. We asked at reception if we could cancel the second day breakfast. When I explained the issues with dinner I was told that’s why there’s a microwave, I can make the food hot should I wish. I would avoid this hotel at all costs. The only thing we really enjoyed so far is the live music and the atmosphere in the bar during the evening. There are much better hotels down the road!

I found this this hotel very good staff friendly room clean breakfast was my main meal as i eat out most of time. Bar staff were great plus entertainment every evening. Malgaret as a resort is good for me as i have limited mobility everything on the flat they let me charge my scooter in the Foyer/reception

Upon arriving at 11:00pm, we arrived to a loud kids club downstairs which could be heard from our room (this was every night). Room average (what we paid for) looks the same as pictures. 5€ fee at check-in. Staff friendly, supermarket across the road which was handy. Shower pressure good, no hairdryer or kettle. Rooms clean. Thin walls, you can hear everything - loads of kids constantly running around the floors/lifts.

The hotel was average. The food was great and was different everyday. Staff were nice and friendly. Pool side sitting area limited. Great location and right in the middle of town. The room needs more colours and features, it was very standard.

Overall good stay, clean hotel good location, had breakfast a few mornings there was everything you would expect! Pool area kept nice and clean also and has a steam room and a lovely warm jacuzzi One thing we found very unusual was - no fridge or kettle in the room, I did go to reception to ask for a kettle but was told no they don’t have one!? 5-10 mins walk from the train station if you are wanting to go into Barcelona for a day trip about an hour and a half on the train. Would stay again if wanting to come back to this part of Spain - take earplugs!!
