The room was never cleaned unless requested. It seems they do it on purpose because they want a tip. The five of us stayed there for five days, and for the last two days, we didn't request any cleaning, resulting in the trash piling up, which we just placed in front of the room

Please read some the negative reviews because there true. Oldish hotel with damaged furniture in the rooms (both of the rooms I stayed in was the same). Awful service by most staff members. When I mentioned the poor service to the management (really slow room service/house keeping) I was told that I ‘haven’t spent a lot honestly one of the worst check in and service I’ve ever received. Location is the only wow factor for this hotel

Great location is the most selling point from this hotel. Room a bit outdated, dont expect a friendly welcome from reception. Their only doing their routine and have no warmth welcome. Especially the lady named noura or somethin. Will try another courtyard hotel for next.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay. The location was excellent, just a short walk from the Haram, especially near King Abdul Aziz Gate. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, making it a relaxing place to return to after a long day. The breakfast was decent, with a large variety of options to choose from. I also enjoyed the view of the Haram from my room. One great convenience was being able to pray in the room during busy times, as the sound of the congregation from Masjid al-Haram was played in speakers of the room that you can turn on or off according to your comfort. The only downside was that the washroom was a bit small, but overall, the stay was very comfortable.

Stayed at the start of Ramadhan 1446 / start of March when nights are still aircon temp. The hotel was amazing, comfortable, with good service and the nicest Bangladeshi bell boys. It was a 30min straight walk to the Haraam (and shuttle buses that stop you at another bus stop to then take the yellow buses to the Clock tower basement) and within the Haraam boundary so terawih prayers were almost up to the hotel 🩷 Clean with a good toilet & toiletries.

4.7/5
Outstanding
GGuest UserThis hotel is next level unreal! The pictures of the rooms don't do it justice, it's way better in reality (at least in my case). We booked three rooms for 5 nights in Jan/ Feb 2025, were located in tower 3 - Al Falak Tower in rooms 708/ 6**/6**. The bathrooms were unbelievable, all stunning white marble with some super fancy design, so so amazing, the shower was so big you could fit like 7 people in there, I have never stayed in such a luxury room before. Ceilings are like 4 metres, really unbelievable. The colour palette for the room was muted greys and pastels, it looked very nice, suited the room and location. One thing that would be useful, can the hotel just install a Japanese bidet instead of a separate one, I think it's a waste installing a standalone bidet and the all-in-one bidet toilet is current technology, so it would be useful compared to the current setup (Toto toilet, etc). Now, the sad bit. The distance from the Haram is advertised as not far, and it isn't. But the reality is it's extremely difficult to enter the haram, because of the crowds, it is just heaving. The police close off the haram to outsiders as soon as the adhaan goes, so you can't enter (be aware), and you'll have to pray outside the boundaries of the haram if you are not inside the area before the adhaan (this may be subject to change, and I cannot confirm how they arrange their opening times etc, please confirm on your own travels). Inside the haram, there is ridiculous construction work going on, all entrances are purposefully blocked, so that huge traffic builds up (I remember 10 years ago in 2014 when I stayed at Bai Al Abraaj, you could just walk into the Ma3taf area of the haram in about 5 minutes, now it is impossible. ). I have no idea what the government is doing, but it seems to intentionally be closing off areas to stop people from entering, which is really a shame. It seems that the purpose is that you rather go to all the shops and malls outside the mall, or pray inside your hotel rather than venture out, this seems the goal of the current administration by closing off all entrances, or causing huge areas to be cordoned off so that getting in easily is impossible. I got so sick of the crowds that i ended up not wanting to go into the haram afterwards (the crowds inside are really next level crazy, they will push and drive wheelchairs up your legs and cut you - happened to me but maybe I was just unlucky). The hotel is exceptional and so is the buffet breakfast/ dinner - breakfast is between 90 - 119riyals, and dinner is about 149 riyals. Food is amazing, but it's sad that most people pile their plates with croissants etc, don't take a bite and throw it away, such a shame. I hope the hotel can have signs up to prevent such ridiculous wastage, or at least give this food to the outside poor people.

SsemFLOWerHotel good but I was expecting a better breakfast where beef , fish , chicken would be offered, and not just sausage. The Hilton and Doubletree in south east Asia are much better in terms of choice and meat/chicken availability : rendang, roasted chicken , steamed fish etc. Also , too much salt are found in many meals, that is so sad. Stop putting excess salt , customers can always add more themselves. WiFi could be much better to connect and having decent speed. I had to complaint about it and was given a code. I came for my umrah , so spiritually I was my too much affected for being in a double tree that has drop its standard I used to in other double tree and Hilton hotels. Also a razor could not be provided , unlike many other hotels that provided me one.

NNabeelIt’s a very nice hotel. Walking distance to gate 79 (10 minutes) which leads directly to the Kaaba. There’s two towers, 1 & 2, both have a great breakfast. There’s two restaurants in tower 2. There’s a cafe which can make birthday cake if you so wish. There’s a nice prayer room inside the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel.

BBoriykhonI stayed at this hotel during my trip, and it left a truly positive impression. The unique design and concept of the hotel make you feel like you're on another planet! The rooms are modern, spotless, and very comfortable, with attention to every detail. One of the standout features for me was the dining experience. The availability of a wide variety of halal food was a huge advantage. This is especially important for travelers with specific dietary preferences. The food was fresh, diverse, and absolutely delicious. The staff was courteous and always ready to assist. The hotel’s location was another highlight – close to many shops and attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring Guangzhou. I highly recommend Guangzhou Planet Concept Hotel to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and a memorable stay. It’s definitely become one of my favorites!

SSmileeeI had the pleasure of staying at Violet Hotel in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and I wanted to share my experience with everyone considering a trip to this holy city. First, the location is absolutely fantastic. The hotel is situated just a short distance from the Haram, making it incredibly convenient for performing prayers and attending religious duties. The view from my room offered a beautiful sight of the surroundings, providing a serene feel which added to my spiritual journey. The staff at Violet Hotel deserve special mention. From the moment I checked in, they were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable and hassle-free. The concierge service was particularly helpful in assisting me with local transportation and offering advice on places to visit. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. I appreciated the modern amenities like free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and a fully-stocked minibar. The bed was very comfortable, making it easy to get some much-needed rest after long days of prayers and exploration. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job, ensuring the room was spotless each day. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's dining options. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices, from local Saudi dishes to international fare, all prepared with fresh ingredients. I also dined at the in-house restaurant for dinner a couple of times, and the meals were absolutely delightful. In terms of facilities, the Violet Hotel offers several amenities that enhance the guest experience. There is a well-equipped fitness center, which I found extremely beneficial to keep up with my exercise routine. The business center also came in handy as I needed to catch up on some work during my stay. Overall, my experience at Violet Hotel was exceptional. Whether you are visiting Makkah for a spiritual pilgrimage or just to explore the city, I highly recommend staying here. The combination of its prime location, excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and fantastic dining options make it a great choice for any traveler.
