Be Warned!!! The hotel staff generally amazing. We are enjoying our two weeks holiday, however we been robbed on night one by the staff who delivered food to our room as we arrived after dinner time. We been out from the room and £40 went missing which we didn’t noticed until this morning when we wanted to exchange some money. Bare that in mind our room was Do Not Disturb so it couldn’t be housekeeping. We reported the issue to the hotel manager, who visibly couldn’t care less. He started to talk to other people in Arabic while we were expressing our issue. I find it very disrespectful. Then he offered if we wish to report to the police?! As me and my partner both working in hospitality we know without CCTV and lock read (the hotel only have physical keys to the room) we don’t have a chance to prove anything. It’s not even about the £40 that was stolen, but about the principle how dare anyone take anything from a purse which was in my bag which was in the wardrobe. The general manager kindly said we should have hire a safe. In my opinion it shouldn’t happened regardless. Just be careful when it comes to your belongings especially to your money that left in guest bedrooms. A La Carte service disaster: We booked a table for 13 people at the A La Carte restaurant on site. We arrived on time. We been seated. We had two waiter who had no idea of service. 11 people out of 13 had a starter and they completely forgot about two of us. When we made a comment after 15 minutes waiting when everyone finished their starter, they brought out something that not even looked alike a starter. There was some tomatoes with cheese presentation zero. I raised a concern as it was not even similar to everyone’s else starter the waiter started to argue that it is the same. I latterly stood up and I walked out from the restaurant. I am working in hospitality myself. I am one of the senior operations manager of two hotels. I would never experienced such a below expectation service and I never in my life made feel like so humiliated by the hotel staff that hired to provide a service. ♀️♀️♀️♀️♀️ Huge disappointment! Another night one of our family member needed eye wash as something went into his eye. There is a first aid box at reception with two antiseptic spray inside. No plaster, no bandage, nothing. No one asked if I need a first aider or is everything okay. I don’t even feel like to approach the General Manager or anyone else for this matter as the hotel general manager just ignorant, zero costumer service and he just generally doesn’t care. So it would be a waste of time and energy to even try to speak to him as he didn’t even take action regarding a previous complaint that I raised days ago. Other than that everything is absolutely fantastic ☀️☀️☀️ There are some individuals that’s are carry the entire business on their shoulders and they should be recognised.
