Very luxury hotel with a pool and two saunas. Excellent breakfast.

Das Hotel war soweit sehr gut und liegt nah am Flughafen. Leider gibt es im Ort selbst wenig Möglichkeiten zum Essen und das Abendessen ist mit 30€ pro Person und nach sehr teuer für das was geboten wird

Espaço fantástico, acolhedor que proporcionou um fim semana espetacular. Desde a chegada na recepção muito atenciosa, pronta a disponibilidade em ajudar, como na sala jantar onde fomos muito bem recebidos, com serviço muito fantástico acompanhado excelente comida. Os quartos estavam muito limpos com um miminho a chegada podendo proporcionar uma fantástica noite, de manhã encontramos um buffet maravilhoso acompanhado por empregado muito prestativo pronto em ajudar, acabamos por desfrutar por um espaço junto da piscina muito limpo e proporcionando momentos fantásticos. Com certeza será um espaço para voltar e recomendar.

Schönes hotel in den Bergen. Es ist sehr ruhig und lädt zum entspannten ein. Wir haben die letzten Tage unseres urlaubs hier verbracht. Das war auf jeden Fall die richtige Entscheidung. Es gibt hier in der Nähe mehrere levadas. Nach einer Wanderung kann man das Wellness genießen. Es schließt nicht zu früh und man muss nicht reservieren. Das hat uns sehr gefallen. Es gibt viele Tiere in der Nähe zu beobachten und Sonntags einen Bauernmarkt.

This hotel is the top of the mountain. The buses are cheap €2.60 but the drivers are mostly crazy! They drive fast and swing around the hairpin bends making it an unpleasant journey ( nearly a hour!) The hotel should have shuttle buses! The hotel was clean but cold. The breakfast was great selection but hot food was lukewarm sadly. Restaurant was freezing. People wore coats! Staff were friendly I must say. The room beds were made daily and sheets changed after about 4 days. Towels changed too as no heat in the bathroom so towels did not dry in February. Mugs and glasses don’t get changed just washed in bathroom so not very clean we found. Mould around shower wasn’t nice Indoor pool was nice but have to wear robe past entrance and reception to get to it. Anyone can walk in with shoes on! No changing room. So wet swimsuit back to room. Small toilet you could struggle to change in . First bus 9am to Funchal - next is 12 noon . On return if you miss the 2pm it’s then 4.30pm. Nuisance. We would not return

We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights at the end of September. The staff, food, cleanliness and gardens were all excellent. We so enjoyed our stay and would happily go back just for the food alone. It was freshly cooked, delicious and plenty of choice to keep everyone happy. The staff were professional, polite and very friendly. The hotel prices for drinks and midday snacks were also very reasonable especially when compared to the hotel we stayed in during the last part of our visit to Madeira.

Newly renovated hotel. Many comforts included in the price. Proximity to the golf club and the airport. The location is in the mountains where the weather is often variable (I stayed the last week of June 2024). What struck me strongly were the following things = cleanliness, the maids' staff is really efficient and takes care not only of the accommodations but of all the guests. The cuisine (I'm Italian) is incredible. Very refined and light, cooked at the moment. Do you think that the hotel has a large vegetable garden where seasonal vegetables are taken from... isn't it a fairy tale? However, the thing that struck me the most is this great team of people who work inside. All of them very, very friendly and helpful. A fantastic stay that I wholeheartedly recommend.

Immaculately clean hotel , just renovated and very tastefully furnished .. the staff made the stay even more relaxing they were very friendly , helpful and accommodating, Iris at reception gave us great recommendations everyday , the food in the hotel was some of the best we had on the island and the desserts were out of this world .. all catering was cooked in house and the vegetables all grown in the gardens at the hotel .. huge choice of cooked and fresh fruits at breakfast . After a day of hiking and walking the indoor pool , steam room and sauna was a welcome treat .. conveniently located only 15 minutes from the airport .. would definitely recommend a stay here 😍

Desapointed, because the Hotel has been renewed and it seems to be a bad way. Restauration is bad quality and décoration has nothing to be attractive. Don't hope to find a charming hotel close to quintas. The website pictures have to be replaced.

Das wir mehrheitlich schlechtes Wetter hatten, dafür kann das Hotel nichts. Trotzdem fehlte uns an diesem Hotel das gewisse Etwas. Bei der Ankunft half uns niemand mit unserem Gepäck, es hiess lapidar wir haben keinen Lift und Sie wohnen im 1. Stock. Der Raum für unser Golfgepäck war suboptimal, wir mussten jedes Mal bitten, dass er uns geöffnet wird. Der Zimmerservice liess anfänglich trotz regelmässigem Trinkgeld zu wünschen übrig. Einmal fehlten die Pooltücher, einmal das WC Papier oder der Kosmetiktücher, einmal waren die Gläser nicht abgewaschen oder das Kaffeepulver nicht aufgefüllt. Die Rezeption war zwar immer besetzt, begrüsst wurde man jedoch nicht immer. Das Essen war sehr gut.

Un 'oasi a Madeira ! Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel a inizio Aprile e siamo rimasti stupidi dall'incredibile natura circostante! L'hotel è situato all'interno dell'isola e comprende anche di una vasta area golf per chi è appassionato! Adoriamo gli animali e la natura, e ci è piaciuto molto passare le nostre giornate qui! Durante il giorno si possono ammirare i pavoni che girano e vivono liberi nell'hotel , pappagalli, pecore e presto molti altri animali! Ideale per trascorrere le vacanze a Madeira , staccando dalla vita frenetica e connettersi con la natura. I servizi sono eccellenti e anche il ristorante di alta qualità! Le materie prime sono freschissime e km 0, lo abbiamo apprezzato molto , non vediamo l'ora di tornarci!

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, pulizia della camera e aree comuni, funzionalità dell'area piscina palestra spa , buffet vario sia a colazione che a cena, posizione ottima sia per raggiungere Machico sia la parte interna e montagnosa dell'isola ovviamente bisogna noleggiare un'auto

Hotel ideal para descansar junto a natureza. Tem uma grande área verde e uma horta. O quarto é aconchegante, limpo e confortável. Funcionários simpáticos e atenciosos. Refeições com muita qualidade e sabor, sempre com toque caseiro. É de salientar que alguns ingredientes da horta são ultilizados na confecção das refeições. Tudo muito saboroso e fresco. Adoramos a experiência.
