The service and friendliness of this hotel is amazing! Once you step into the hotel you feel at home. The staff are so welcoming and take care of all your needs. The cleanliness is good as well and food amazing. We had the Christmas lunch and it was lovely and well prepared. The location is great, away from the hustle and busy areas. I was looking for a getaway to have a quality time all alone surrounded with wild nature only and this is exactly what I needed in Macau. The estate is located on the hill side above the second popular beach in Macau, with zero traffic, so most of the time one may hear birds tweeting and waves beating against the shore, perfect. The sea itself wasn’t the priority for me as I’m realistic and aware of the rather sad water pollution at this part of the South Chinese Sea, that’s why I was more than happy to find an amazing pool right at the door, with not many guests sharing the desire to cool down in the pool I felt it was all mine, and while swimming one can’t help but think what may be better to enjoy pleasant waters being amidst lush green hills. I love the furniture in the room, all in the same style, obviously customized and styled in Mediterranean fashion and so is the room, decorated with blue&white tiles, showcasing the Portugal distinctive artwork. I would just suggest to add some mugs or cups so that the guests could pumper themselves with teas or coffees sitting out in the romantic balcony gazing the skies . Be ready to climb up the hill a little bit to reach the hotel, and if you wish to travel by bus, also need to go upstairs, which may be a little hard if you have suitcases. But the staff also can help you to find a taxi, so it’s not a big problem. The neighborhood is small yet there’s a decent restaurant Gondola, in 5 min walking distance. Huge advantage of the hotel location is its proximity to the popular tourist spot Coloane village and Black Sand Beach, you may walk or take a bus so it’s really close as well as the casino area, just 20 min by bus. Recommend everyone sharing same values!

More of a motel or inn so manage your expectations. Accommodation in Coloane village is limited so this was decent for a one night stay with no other nearby comparison. Simple setup with no bells and whistles. Heard about good experiences with the owner in the reviews but I never saw or got approached by them during my stay here. Granted I only stayed 1 night so it may have seemed impersonal. Lastly I want to commend the 2 Filipino staff for their good service, esp the guy in the evening time who helped me with my luggage during check in.

Our family booked the Platinum Onsen Room, last December 31, 2024, to January 1, 2025 and we thought it was simply perfect for our hotel staycation.  From the moment we arrived, a Filipino staff in check-in area was very welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home.  The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with a private onsen that provided a luxurious and relaxing experience, and perfect for family.  Though the views from our room are not the one we expected. We booked Platinum (Resorts World) Garden Onsen Room, it’s quite pricey but since we want to experience the onsen we are okay with that price, Macau Tower view as we saw that on the picture in trip.com are one we choose, because we thought there is fireworks display in Macau, sad to say no fireworks display this year 2025 in Macau tower.  Anyway the amenities at Yoho Hotel were fantastic! My boys and I loved the onsen room, as it was warm and inviting, and the amenities in hotel especially the gym. On New Year's Eve, we had a small celebration, we thought we can sing outside (onsen) coz there is small table, on our room but hotel called us twice 😂 So our New year eve night is not as special as it is. For us our staycation is just a waste of money. Anyway i want to commend Jape and the filipino in check-in area for being so helpful and mindful on our needs. (forgot to get the name) they are both friendly and helpful. Not being biased but having a Filipino staff is very good coz they are all welcoming and friendly.  But overall, our stay at Yoho Hotel was okay. We all relaxed. But I will not recommend this room, if your family like to have fun coz they will scold you 😂

Very spacious room for family… good location with lots of eateries around. Within walking distance to many tourists spot.. service was great from the staff too.. will definitely be back again☺️

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Macau, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. First and foremost, the staff truly made our stay memorable. Michelle, in particular, was outstanding. Her attentiveness and genuine care for our needs enhanced our experience significantly. She went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and comfortable throughout our visit. One of the lovely surprises during our stay was the thoughtful thank-you card and a little gift for my bambino. It was such a heartwarming gesture that made us feel special and appreciated, adding a personal touch that we will always remember. We also indulged in the afternoon tea service in our room, which was set up beautifully. The atmosphere was both nice and romantic, creating the perfect backdrop for our tea time. The staff who organized this were incredibly thoughtful, ensuring that every detail was just right. The room itself was a haven of comfort. It was not only beautifully appointed, but the view was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to such stunning scenery in the morning was a highlight of our stay. Lastly, the hotel's location is incredibly convenient. It is within walking distance of local restaurants and parks, making it easy for us to explore the area and find fun activities for our child to enjoy. However, the only downside I noticed was that some of the cutlery, specifically the knives and forks, seemed a bit old and worn out. While the overall dining experience was delightful, a refresh of these items could elevate the dining experience even further. Overall, my stay at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Macau was nothing short of fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable experience. Hotel conditions is good, she locates in town center and easy to take traffic. Room is clean and tidy but not enough water supply (only 2 bottles). Bathroom is big and clean, weight scale including is good. lack of sauna room is a great missing in such 5 star hotel. the great advantage is an I-Pad control whole room facilities. Compare with Wynn Palace she seems a bit old and needs to take some renovation. I may stay again if the price is right.

Booked this room for the second time as it is really convenient to everywhere. New Yaohan, Senado Square etc. Many small eateries and shops around the corner. Room is huge and I love the amenities and facilities provided by the hotel. Daily breakfast set was flavorful too with some Chinese dimsum / local variety.

The hotel is well-known and has a good reputation, but the interior of the rooms needs remodeling to a newer version. The door latch is somewhat broken, which indicates a need for maintenance. While the environment is generally quiet, there is a lingering smoking smell even in the non-smoking areas. Overall, I believe the pricing is too high for the current condition of the rooms.
