Friendly staff. Food excellent, cooked to order. Only slight ****** is a little more attention to housekeeping, shower cap package empty and areas in bathroom mainly door were dusty otherwise would have been perfect.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Statham Lodge Hotel. The staff were friendly throughout and the room was clean, comfortable and well prepared. The breakfast was more than adequate and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I stay here once a week all the time, to break up my commute.
Staff are helpful,food is top notch & the rooms are comfortable & ideal. Wifi is good too

The room had everything that was needed. One small issue was that the shower was too hot, even when the temperature dial was turned down it didn’t get any cooler.

Really friendly hotel and great service. Had a fab long chat with Melanie in the bar - inspirational individual. Food was good. Shower temp fluctuated a bit. Bed was comfortable.

Every member of staff was lovely, and extremely helpful. Bar food was fair to middling - decent enough not to bother eating elsewhere, but not exactly fine dining! Room was clean and tidy and well appointed - but it was ridiculously cold. I mean freezing. Such a shame because everything else was decent, but I would never stay there again whilst it was so so bitterly chilly.

Lovely very well appointed hotel - comfortable friendly lovely new room, everything I needed. Excellent afternoon tea and superb steak dinner. Good English breaakfast. Didn't want to leave.

I stayed here for 1 night in a family room, with my husband and son. The room was great value for money, well equipped and the beds were comfortable. We liked the breakfast, which was included.
